  • its the same clips over again, fuck you.

  • Damn, michael kicked russel's ass once again! lol

  • I watch these MJ videos here on youtube pretty much everyday, and yet I am still absolutely blown away everytime. MJ=GOAT forever!

  • I like to see any other professional basketball player play like this at that age.

  • BEST NBA PLAYER EVER. not kobe, lebron, dirk, wade, rose, shaq, ANYBODY

  • I bet players were scared as hell when they heard Jordan was un-retiring,

  • lol ostertag...double 00 means your a boob, because b00b

  • i dont care what nobody say jordan was still the shit when he was playing for da wizards

  • Jordan still skooling russell

  • Russell probably got goosebumps and dejavu!

  • Now you've done pissed in my Wheaties this morning. Ofcourse ya don't want to mention how in the last game that the Jazz ever faced Jordan shortly after this that they TROUNCED him!

  • Russell Malone Stockton like mann why is he bacc again

  • For an announcer to say that a 38 year old has the highest points scored in a game that season is why MJ is the Grestest Basketball Player Of All Time.

  • Damn, I miss the GOAT on the court.

NBA has become so lifeless without him.

  • 3 yrs. later, out of retirement, and Jordan was STILL burying the Jazz (and Russell)

  • Malone thinking...."come on Mike....you really gotta do this every time you play me?"

  • haha, Russell still couldn't gaurd MJ.

  • aww man tht was CLASSIC the way they showed the flashback on bryon russel..lol perfect

  • man i say he comes back one more time.....<3

  • always knew jesus would come back. it's in the bible.

  • man wtf is going on..... mj went stupid on em...

  • @KEN305DADE yea where was brain russel who always brag jordan push him at the last final game jordan came back here and slap all the jazz in the face again

  • Man, had the bulls stayed together I'm sure they would have won at least one more championship. Fucking Jerry Krause, what a cocksucker.

  • Anyone who takes enjoyment from watching Jordan hit that shot in 98 is not human!! Bryon Russle is the man I don't care what anyone says!!

  • "How's that for deja vu?"

    Perfect

  • he is sayin i still can play and he can greatest ever, true warior.

  • classic mj

  • Russel,Sloan,Stockton and Malone..are Jordan's bitches!!lol!

  • lol,Karl Malone and Jerry Sloan are probably like " damn, hes back"

  • It's funny how at age 40 + MJ can still bust that ass. Greatest ever!!!!!

  • MJ= Legend!!!

  • FMEGAIIIOI kobe is a jordan wanabe and copycat...!!

nobody can fuck up with mj!!!

    hes still the GOAT!!

  • @sirclahan LOL. Motherfucker took black mamba from the GOAT!!

  • MJ has so much pride with 6 NBA titles he just loves playing basketball so much like he owns it.

  • i have respect for the man, but at the same time i hate him too. because of him, some of my other favorite players never won a championship.

  • wiz win this one?

  • no jazz did

  • Nuts!

  • Mj is and will always be the greatest player of all time who could take over the game anytime he felt like it he simply superb

  • sensasional ! Best ever

  • 1:37 sweet deja vu

  • If the wizards had good players around jordan, Rip is good but if they had more they coulda had a good run getting to the finals idk if they would beat kobe and shaq tho

  • Rip back then wasnt as good as right now tho.

  • that's why mj traded him for stackhouse

  • Look at them 2 legends playing in this game ... Jordan and Stockton. Man those two could still play today if they wanted to.

  • what an annoyin player to guard.

  • Jordan beyond great.

  • Lol, my heart goes out to Bryon Russell. The guy's a decent defender. Just ain't nobody could guard MJ when he's on his game, even at age 38.

  • russel must stay away from jordan....

  • nice

  • who won d game???????

  • Jazz won 101-92

  • r u sure???????

  • yeah, i'm sure. check this out: nba(dot)com/games/20011116/UTAWAS/boxscore.html

  • yea its deja vu from the 1997 nba finals game one winner

  • Sofa King good....

  • 1997 NBA final Game one.

  • that deja vu comes from 1997 NBA final game last shot by MJ. same move, same dance

  • yea jordan pushed, i'm sure there was so much strength while he was off balance that he really BODY slammed him to the floor with his 3 fingers that he could barely touch byron with, Idiot.

  • and the fact that your dick was probably in his ass. hahahahahaha

  • uhh LoL! YEa NICE oNe sooo FuNny HaHaHa !!!

Dumbass kid stuck in the middle of nowhere thinkin that shits funny (utah?..)

  • it wasn't a push. russell was running full force in the direction mj was going to.. then mj made a cross over. russell slipped which made it look like a push. and how can someone push a person slightly bigger than them in that position? pause it before the mj crossover. anyway if it's really a push.. the ref didnt see it. mj made the shot. you lost. outsmarted by the g.o.a.t.

  • how embarrassing for Russel he still couldn't guard MJ.

  • I have a few of MJ's games from the 1996 playoffs...check 'em out if you'd like...more to come in the future

  • Seeing this reminds me of how good Jordan was even then. He was so powerful. Reinsdorf or whoever was fucking nuts for breaking up the Bulls after the '98 title. Jordan would have played again if they had kept Jackson. Pippen was so intent on being the man amongst the juvenile delinquents in Portland. It's just sad that Jordan wasted the last bit of his NBA career with the damn Wizards.

  • if jordan had "pushed" Russell it would have set jordan standing position off terribly and therefore he would have need serious clutch to make that

but since he didn't he got the easy j

  • bush53 so what if jordan pushed russel you stupid wanker!!utah lost the series in games 2,3 and 4 when the bulls destoryed them!!your just jelous coz your jazz failed to win twice agians the bulls i mean go back to 1997 game 5 jordan had the flu was exhuasted and still burnt your asses for 38 points and hit the game winning 3!!and about jordan pushing him so what if he did push him he didnt fall coz of jordan pushing him the prick lost his footing on the floor and slipped!!u jazz prick no rings

  • I'm not a Jazz fan. I'm a Lakers fan. I just see things for what they are. Stop sucking MJ's *** and open your eyes. A push is a push.

  • it wasn't a push you fuckin stupid fuck. BTW GJ nuthug hero bryant and rigged ass lakers with game 6 getting BLOWN OUT BY 40 ROFL.

  • obviously you are a retard. Push is absolutely allowed in NBA, its not a foul. Notice, MJ's push the clear russell off was exceptional timings. Also, russell did not fell when MJ pushed him off, its after he recovered from the push & turned around to challenge MJ's jumper, thats when he lost his footing & fell. This shows he was clearly never offensive fouled as you may think. MJ gave russell extra momentum to clear him out of the way.

  • Pushing is not allowed in the NBA. Show me in the rule book where it says a player can giver another person "extra momentum". Speak english next time.

  • no surprises here. today's NCAA immitation NBA soft zone defensive era fans. In Golden era NBA '80-'99, forget pushing, jersey grabbing, holding, shorts grabbing everything was allowed as far as referees dont catch you.

  • the angle was deceiving. his hand barely grazed him fool

  • MJ is not an idiot. He knows what he was doing. Why is his hand even on Russell booty in the first place? Ever play basketball? Ever touch someone's ass while doing a crossover? Didn't think so.

  • He's still fast...the back door spin move at 4:43 was FAST!!! look at his foot work, simply the best, even at age 38~ Greatest Of All Time

  • ur stupid...even Russell himself saids "Jordan didn't push me" after the game back in 1998.

  • I can assure you as someone who lived in Salt Lake, Russell never shut up about being pushed off. Of course playing in Utah, it would never be "front page news" anywhere else, but he said more than a few times over the years he was shoved/pushed off.

  • he did not push u dumbfuck, more like a little touch, no one not even by todays sissy standards are going to call that, russel got owned by the crossover, lost his balance, fell, and died like a black mormon.

  • he pushed without a doubt. but the refs areen't gonna call that with only seconds left on the clock.

  • WOW, your an idiot!

  • Probably the way he saw it. If he thinks that Jordan pushed Russell, then fine, that's what he saw. It wouldn't surprise me if he were a Jazz fan.

As for me, I don't remember seeing any push, but I did see The Shot. And besides, why didn't Russell complain, if he was indeed pushed by Michael? It's his fault that he allowed MJ to take the shot in the first place.

  • just check out the related video:

"Jordan Pushes Russell for 98 Gamewinner"

you see his left hand push him. if your definition of "awesome move" is pushing off, then that's your problem, not mine.

  • He put his hand there but it clearly had no force associated with it so therefore can't be called a push!

  • it is horrible to have such performance at age 38

  • it makes me think, he could of had 4 more good years after 98, and the 2 yrs he lost during basketball, thats 6 seasons jordans lost.

  • Lightning quick spin into the fadeaway at 2:17. MJ teaching at age 38 here. Love it.

  • spectacular jordan forever!

  • at 2:59 the man wasnt even looking!! he just had 2 defenders in front of him and he just knew he was der incredible basketball IQ/KNOW HOW simply da best it be little shit like that, that he does that gets me so nerdy at time lmao

  • 23.2 pts, 7.2 reb. 4.1 ast, 1.5 stls, 1.0 blks on 46.2% shooting <--- What MJ did "AFTER" turning 40 over a span of 30 games..on a bum knee..just 5 seasons ago.

21 ppg, 4 apg & 4 rpg "42% FG" <--- His "Career" avgs with the Wizards..

    22.1 ppg, 4 apg, 5 rpg, "41.6% FG" <--- Kobe's Finals avgs

    24.4 ppg, 4 apg, 5.1 rpg, "45% FG" <--- Kobe's "CAREER" avgs

    U do the math PPL..

MJ put up avgs in 2 yrs, that R virtually "IDENTICAL" to kobe's "CAREER" marks LOL!!!

  • amen bro kobe yuck jordan? there is no word in the dictionary that can describe him

  • wow thanks for that. i actually really ENJOY waching jordan play as an old guy with the wizards. its more interesting. it's like...

can superman really kick a regular persons ass w/out his super powers?

  • Damn and I thought Lebron was good old vintage MJ just blows him away.

  • yeah ur all right frnds.. players today can't never ever as best as mj..... mj is the best of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the best ever.

  • As usual...amazing. How i wish they reached the playoffs.

  • what did russell ever do to MJ,

i bet russell has nightmares of MJ

  • So does the entire NBA during Mikes era!

  • Jordan stop and pop is unstoppable. Players today can't do that.

  • Jordan had 4.3 40-yard speed and a 42+ vertical. i think his athleticism then would easily transfer into today's game...not to mention he's the most competitive mofo you'll ever see

  • Mike's vertical was 48" in his prime. Check the '88 dunk contest, the dunk where he takes off of one leg, soars under the rim and dunks on the other side...he has to duck his head to avoid hitting the hoop. Off one leg! No player today can get up that much of one leg. No-one today has the hang time and grace Jordan had. People today are explosive, but they go up and down quick; they dont float like MJ.

  • Maybe josh howard has similar power off one leg; lebron too. But they both 6'9", 6'10".

  • talent level in the 90s is just as good as talent today... The difference is that there are better perimeter players now (kobe, tmac, arenas, lebron etc)and the 90s have the better centers and PF.. 90s had (olajuwan, Shaq, malone, barkley, Robinson, Ewing, Kemp etc)

  • today we have centers like yao , howard , duncan , oden next year , jefferson and the power forwards arent that bad KG , dirk ...

  • "mj would never dominate in kobe's time" well how many times did kobe score 40 dat year being in the league for 5 years mj a 38 year old hit 40+ 6 times with a 3 year lay-off and bad knees

  • Good point. MJ would dominate even more today because players are less fundementally sound even though they're more physically gifted.

supeior athleticisn + superior fundamentals/Skills = MJ No one has that today. MJ is the most refine scorer I've even scene

  • he's on fire!!..

  • if Jordan only played consistent with the Wizards, they would have been something... He looks so sharp in this game but he was never like that the whole season.. How I hate father time.

  • simply breathtaking

  • Look at all the isos the wizards ran for him.. at his age taking on all comers 1on1..amazing..

  • He played Russell like a puppet...great upload!

  • Awesome post. Never saw this game; one of his few great games that I don't have. :P

  • FREAK! Most greats start to lose a bit of the desire and fire they have, not MJ!

  • Thanks for the upload man great to see u back at it! MJ was huge in this game..His commitment to the game was just on another level. How else can u explain this kinda performances at nearly age 40? He just "wanted it really bad".

    GOAT

  • great upload
