omigosh.. taren u are speakin my language when u were talking about patterns in relationships..idk if its a virgo thing or what (funny that that video was on the 18th of sept..my bday!) but i know for me too, I just accept things that are.. i had both of my parents growing up, but they struggled and it was tough as a kid for me but i had to learn to accept things too and thats what happened with me with relationships too, i accepted. I've learned to appreciate myself so i can be appreciated too.

i love how deep u guys got. and i appreciate this throwback, its awesome to look bac and see where u were and to realize the changes from then to now. i was like u where i would always be the giver but never remembered my wants. anytime i guy asked me wat r ur needs and wants i was thrown bac and didnt kno wat to say cuz i never thought about it. but the single life has given me a chance to think of my needs.

First off, I know you already know this but I am going to say it anyway.....people will judge the rest of their lives because something will always be missing from their own life. This is typical with most humans. Wish there was a cure but there isn't. I made it a mission years ago to stop judging others because sometimes we do it when we don't even realize it. Secondly, your video was a delight to drink coffee to this AM. Your daughter has a singers voice lol. You should make more of these!

Taren this video really had me feeling annoyed at the negative people that are writing stuff about you. i'm a kinda new subscriber and i felt like i really connected with you in this video with the not feeling special enough, and yes i didn't grow up with my father either. i had to re-evaluate who i was and to an extent i had to get closer to god and figure out i was worth it and if a guy couldn't give me love and affection like i gave him he wasn't worth it. got alot respect for u,stay strong

I normally don't sit thru long videos but I must say that I watched this entire video and loved it. First, I LOVE the movie Crooklyn, so thanks for the "steps shot" lol. Also, you and your friend were so right and I can relate to both of you when it comes to men. Point is, do not settle and know your worth. Taren you dont have to defend urself to the ignorant people. All women go through a learning process with men, realtionships and life. Some learn and some dont so they r doomed to repeat the same mistakes. Kudos to u for being brave enough to air your learning process and share with us. Many of us appreciate u. Accountability is so so..important.thanx for sharing, the children r beautiful and u r as well inside first and outside. A close mouth never gets fed. I will remember that till I die.
