  • Jeff Ament is huge on Bass, whether it was Cameron, Krusen , Chamberlain, Abbruzzese or Irons their drum rhythms were and are awesome. When is the last time you saw Stone or Mike grace the cover of Guitar World or Player and Eddie as a front man with that huge voice is a force and argubly one of the best front man in Rock and Roll. As a band they get their recognition. I just wish as indiviuals they would be given a little more credit

  • over the past few days I have watched video after video of Pearl Jam,( and big thanks go to you who contribute for without you there is no tube) and I have come to the conclusion that as individual artists are they not the most under rated players respective to their instrument.

  • This bass is soooo sick!!!!

  • the funny thing is, is that Matt just has to play jesus christ pose at about half speed. there you got it, the wma you hear on vs.

  • I also play drums, not concondo. The tempo of the music is another. Matt plays very well. I always prefer MATT

  • as a drummer i know this beat is a tough one w/ alot of overdubs done in it on V.S....but Dave A pulled it off and it used to sound perfect live...just listen to the version on the Dissident Live EPs from 94'...they are tough to find, but if you happen to have gotten ahold of them when they came out(i was lucky and have all of them and the concert that they came from recorded on cassette since it was aired on the radio)...but listen to WMA...the beat is perfect...Matt doesn't even attempt it.

  • @rachsyeve Matt Cameron is technically more skilled than Dave. Was Dave a better fit for PJ though? Yes. Because he was a more feel player and all PJ songs are easy to play...as long as you're in the groove.

  • this version sucks

  • yeah it isn't the same without dave.

  • yeah Dave really kicked ass, one of my favorite drummers ever.

  • Listen to the bootleg of the MSG 25/06/2008 (as oppose to this one recorded the night before), it sounds great. This one is a terrible quality recording too.
