Great traditions @ both schools but those big dudes looked stuck in cement @ the Ship vs Birmingham, who had an outstanding, if smaller, defense. "Twin Towers" Malik & Marquis Jackson (D Ends) put some serious hurt on QB and linebackers Donovan Carter, T.J. Rosas stopped Sula cold. Football power has shifted to The Valley (Taft's DJ Morgan will be All City again and he's just a Soph now, Jr next yr...but Bham will stil be the team to beat. Marine League, South Bay power...ok, but lemme know when you beat Taft or BHam...Taft just beat Banning, Bham beat Dorsey w/ weakest team in three yrs...but watch out, they are 1-4 now and probably will be 10-4 at endd of season w. another City crown...or else it will be DJ Morgan and Taft...Taft vs Bham will be city championship unless Carson can take them...good luck, you may have a slim shot this year.
