yer sorry meant NZ. I like the Aussie sirens better. What brand is it? the wail sounds like a longer whelen but everyting else sounds different.. Which brigade are you with btw?
where about are you living all you have to do is just find your local CFS country fire service and you can become a voulenteer there wat state are you in
@mattyleebishop Belconnen,ACT mate. I emailed about joining before but I think it was the SES that I emailed. I'm in AUS about 3 months at a time as I'm just here to visit my missus so going into SES was out of the question as training goes on and on and on. Might try and ring the ACT CFS/RFS (dunno if its the same) and see how I go.
Nice change of pace seeing response videos from outside America. I gotta say though, the run was definatly not as intense as the runs we have here; a new siren and air horns would do the trick. You guys should come ride with my volunteer department, very action packed stuff. Stay safe from Setauket Fire Department Hook and Ladder Company 1, Long Island New York! (:
excellent video.nice driving andrea.i was a volly with queenstown for just over a year.this brings back good memories. This truck is a !987 Mitsubishi appliance i gather? It sounds like ou old Pump in queenstown.
Never ceases to amaze the fk out of me how people on the other side of the road dont move over to give you guys ( and gals )as much room as they can. Also not hear, see ,or notice a rather large fire appliance approching up their arse!Oh yeah, the old man was a fireman.
well i have to say that was fantastic work. i used to be a volly firefighter for Lumsden until i moved north for my lady. yes, watching the clip brought back great memories of the adrenline rushed ride. keep up the good work
the siren sound like a frickin house alarm system!

I like the design of the roads in New Zeeland. An interesting combination/mix between the American and European/British system.

That's just the standard wail setting. There's 3 different settings. 2 on most trucks. Wail, Yelp and (phaser) on some trucks. Loving the phaser. lol
