1. kinda hard to pull him on land when your in a boat

2. pulling and dragging the fish on land removes the fishes slime coat which protects the fish from disease

what the hell.. "Bring a net"? All you have to do is grab the line to pick him up if you don't use your rod.. but if you use the rod make sure you lift straight up and don't stand over it. We all learn one way or another. I've had a few tiny torpedos in my skin.. mostly the clear one tho.

LOL, Been there, but the damn walleye was still on the end of it. I was by myself and the walleyes swallowed it as well. First off you should have cut fishing line.. then cut the other gang hook off so if you actually did jerk it free the other one wouldn't catch you. Then you have a few beers, push the hook through and snip barb and pull out.

give me chill cuss i fish alot in the spring and when ever it the right time to too! so if you ever get hooked go to the nearest hosttail or is you have a cell call 911 if you are far away or go to the nearest aid room cut the line first
