Once there was a little girl. She went to elementary school. The girl got to know a good friend with whom she had lots of fun and laughter. After school, where they passed church they walked a lot of times in there. They went to the very front where usually just the priest stands and sang a "Vater Unser" (german).

Maybe not the most beautiful, but here's a story from Dutch history. Once the Dutch sailed across the world to im- and export goods from the far East. They founded the first multinational, the East India Company (VOC). On Easter morning in 1676 a ship sailed from Cape Town (S-A), but never returned. So it must be shipwrecked. From that point it became a ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman. Since it wrecked it was seen numerous times, even by an English king and in WWII by a U-boat. Scary!

We spend our time in a small village hearing an old lady tell a story.
We open an ophanage, a school and teach children to dream.....because we want to and because we can.
We build businesses for the poor & strengthen the plight of small villages.
We give hope, inspiration & love....because we can.
To be blessed, to know love, to have wealth and to have hope, to share with so many,
cry & laugh with so many is one of life's greatest blessings and this is....all....because we can

We live like Kings & Queens, Princes & Princesses, wear the finest clothes and shop for hours ........because we can
We have a French chateau in the East, a stone house in Tunis, a villa in Rome & a houses around the world......because we can
We create,we design, we imagine , we make...all because we can.

Because We Can.
We wake at noon........because we can
We watch the stars all night.......because we can
We shop from market, to market, to market and town to town because we can
We eat the finest food & drink the richest wine
We dance when we like and laugh as hard as we can......because we can
We embrace for hours & hours and tell stories, jokes and tales all day long.....because we can

Something I wrote a few years ago:
It is not my hair extensions, it is the way I let the wind blow in my hair
It is not my long nails, it is my careful touch
It is not my diet food or workout, it is the way I hold myself proudly
It is not my high heals, it is my walk
It is not my long black lashes, it is my shiny eyes
It is not my kissable lips, it is the smile I give you
I am a very beautiful girl because I am proud of what I am

Hello Paulo,
Great idea for your birthday!
I would like to send a short story, a "real "story, with more than 500 words. I was inspired by one of your books.
How can I send it? Murielle
