  • The food you ram down your throat makes you fat. And, get off your arse and walk.

  • BUT if you were a child (like me) and you were overweight. IT's partly your parents fault because they didn't force you to eat those veggies or those healthy foods that need to be in your diet. My mom said to me when I was a child I would throw a hissy fit about not eating healthy food. And I regret it. I DO! I wish I could have listened and not rebeled. It all depends on where you grew up and how strict your parents are. ;) BUt that's in MY case. Wish I could turn back time. >:(

  • Okay, FIRST of all, it's not THEIR choice for you to go to their fast food joint and eat THEIR greasy fatty food. It's YOUR choice. It's YOU!

Why do we always blame the other person for our fatty tissue? Because we don't want to face the truth that it's our fault for being unhealthy! not Skinny but HEALTHY! I mean come on people, you have a brain right? you have a body right? Well then use it for a good purpose to get out there and get that fresh air and to stop the fast food joints from growin

  • Your right lady, working out and staying in shape ain't easy. Especially as you get older and your body isnt as cooperative. Tough shit. That must be McDonalds fault. DONT EAT THAT SHIT.

  • This is stupid. Fat people just want to blame others for making them fat. They know fast food is bad for you

  • those companies make food TASTE GOOD because they want more sales, you dont NEED to eat it every day. infact, you DONT even need to EAT every day. and you are just wasting your money on those fitness dvds and nonsense exercises....just go for a 40 minute run around your neighborhood, idiot...its free.

  • if it makes you feel better you can blame your mouth and hand for your fatness..,but thats as far as you can take it

  • I blame retards who don't see overeating as just another form of eating disorder. >_> Clearly most people over eat due to deeper issues that are too complex for just a team of gym trainers and nutritionists. Many of these people need consoling, therapists and specialist psychologists on ED to really combat the real issues of these people over-eating. I was fortunate to over come one ED, unfortunately I landed to the other extreme (limiting caloric intake). Diet & exercise are only service crap.

  • @LadyBludgeon sorry typo - surface not service. It;s very late here... sorry. Peace be.

  • I bet over 99% of the time it is their own stupid faults for getting fat.

  • I paused at 1:00 to go down stairs to eat :) I feel bad now

  • It's ur own stupid fault!!! lmao

  • The problem is that the junk food is so good that it's crazy. But basically you have to do self moderation and don't eat there one or two times a day. You can easily eat mcdonald once a week or even twice if you work out, you have to know what you want that's all it's not mcdonalds fault. If you did not work out and start to put on weight you just stop eating there for a while and do sports to loose the weight before you can't even move enough to exercise because if it happens you're screwed.

  • Where can I find more 'Mischeif' documentaries apart from Super Slim Me with Dawn Porter? I like them. :-)

  • @EllenRebecca3 I meant 'Mischief', sorry! X-l

  • im eating a very nice apple while watching this

  • @jangotheman Good for you. ^_^ I had some Innocent Smoothie earlier. :-)

  • yes, your exercising like a lunatic by doing Tae Bow 4 times a week -.- seriously, go and meet some people at the gym, who actually work HARD

  • if your fat, it is your fault, people should stop making excuses for fatsos

  • Is this a Comedy?

  • 12:00

is she being completely serious? "Who is to blame for us getting fat?" Nobody is shoving the chicken nuggets down people's throats.

  • I'm on the weight loss inspiration section of YouTube again. Found like 3 different programs tonight! Hell yeeeeeah!

  • We are the reason we're fat nothing else. My family is all overweight, however, I'm a normal healthy wight. I chose not to binge on everything I see. So, please, damn blame yourself.

  • I don't think that reporter should cast any stones.

  • My team of fat-letes!

  • why??, do ppl..think 165lbs..is skinny..wtf?...fuck, u...i, aint skinny..

  • @chadberry75 Huge difference between 165 lbs of pure fat and 165 lbs of muscles. A guy who is lean weighting 165 lbs can be too thin depending on his height. Whereas a short guy 165 lbs can be dangerous for him especially if it's 165lbs of pure fat.

  • You can't really blame McDonalds, Burguer King etc, cause they don't force u to eat their junk shit.. if u get fat its ur fault actually, u could've eaten somewhere else.

  • fast food & junk food companies put addictive chemicals in their food, it's not even a secret anymore

  • soda ruined my teeth and fast food made me too fat for my heels to carry

  • security over there is fat too? that's good to know maybe there's something to it

  • Oh man, I really want a coke now lol

  • This documentary is so fucking stupid. They support the olympics because of advertising. If 10s of millions of people watched a eating contest, they would endorse that, too. Obese people eat too much, and don't work out. It's really that simple.

  • @doksekko the whole point of this documentary is to be fun , it is not rocket science that eat too much and zou get fat and we know it, but thing like that documentary actualy can help with understanding for instace that you should realy look out for sugar in food and some people actualy don't know it, so it helps

  • @FlypaperSangsue Absolutely nobody in America honestly believes sugar doesn't cause weight gain; just willful ignorance. Documentaries like this don't help the problem. We're talking about an epidemic, not really a subject for "fun" and counterproductive documentaries.

  • honestly if you dont eat all day you dont gain weight! most people who are obese that i know eat massive amounts alone and say ohhh im not eating that much.. i beg to differ!! you cant eat shit and expect miracles

  • soo...people don't buy salad because it costs more? HA

I kind of had the idea fat people avoid it b/c it's not FRIED.

  • @xxxfantasyhorse yeah salad aint expensive. bag of spinach, can of mackerel, avocado, eat it and shut up

  • great investigation

  • One word- MONEY! that's why they let them sponsor them! Do u think they care who they becomes fatter and eats it-no. They just care about money. But then again anyone who sees maccas , cola, cadbury sponsoring should no better then thinking that that's what athletes it. Or to think it's good for you in way!

  • These "fast food = the reason for obesity" videos are getting kinda old for me. Fast food is surely unhealthy for you due to a lack of nutrients through processing and an abundance of bad fats and whatnot, but the fact of the matter is weight management can be had with portion control. McDonald's can be blamed for unhealthy food (even to the point that the high sugar/salt/fat content causes you to desire more), but it's not necessarily fattening food.

  • wtf nobody is putting junk food in your mouth!!!!

  • i run 4 miles a day, i am in martial arts, and i eat healthy. guess what, im not a fattie. what is so complicated? all the commercials in the world wont persuade me to eat mcdonalds or drink soda.

  • Just stop fucking eating so much

  • With the exception of rare genetic conditions (MOMO and Prader-Will Syndrome) obesity can be controlled. Granted, there is an increasingly amount of calories available 24/7, but exercise self discipline instead of blaming the people who gave you what you ordered. McDonald's and Burger King may not be serving even remotely healthy foods, but they follow number one rule of business: give the consumer what they want. People, for the most part, have a choice of what they eat, this is up to them.

  • are we so weak we have to blame McDonalds?

  • This woman did a great job. I can understand her concern. I used to weigh nearly 350 lbs. Now I am about 220lbs.

  • @iaadotlk1 Just want to congratulate you on that weight loss.

  • ppl have the option of whether they want to be unhealthy or healthy...

  • Nah, companies do not make people fat. Coca Cola? Fast food? We all consume them, but some consume more than others. Unless you really have a thyroid/genetic problem, it's all about lifestyle and discipline.

  • I drink a ton of coke and sometimes eat McDonalds/other unhealthy foods. However, once I'm not hungry, I stop eating. That's why I'm very thin. These people just need to STOP EATING when they're not actually hungry.

  • I will admit that I was once overweight. Not obese, but overweight. It took me at least 3-4 years to lose the weight, not because it was difficult to actually lose the weight but because it was difficult for me to commit to actually going through with it and sticking to it. I know I was 95% to blame but I think the other 5% was healthy foods being so expensive and horrible junk so cheap and easily available. Good luck to everyone trying to eat healthier, even if it isn't about the weight for you

  • It's really not that difficult to maintain a healthy weight.

90% (at least) of the time it is just greed/gluttony.

  • @marky77 I call bullshit on that! >_> What is a "healthy" weight? What some dutch shit head from the Victorian era thought was right? I'm 120 a size 6/8 yet I'm still considered overweight borderline obese by that BMI shit chart. Seriously, numbers is a poor indicator for what is considered healthy. My bf is obese on the bases of the BMI chart too...yet he has better heart pressure, better cholesterol levels, better overall health than I do. Plus he actually does look really fat.

  • Is she trying to be Dawn Porter? Or is it the other way around?

  • tHEY STILL CALL PPL lord OVER THERE? lmao

  • People people just think of it this way..If there was a famine, overweight people will have a higher chance of survival. Who knows maybe they're getting ready for 2012.

  • lol totally wrong, calorific foods like burgers and pizza give u tons of energy, ask any bodybuilder, they are much stronger after eating a cheat meal. just keep track of ur calories its fking easy.

  • HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • he-he... "conspiracy of feeders")

  • overeating is the symptom of obesity, not the cause ppl

  • @tomheppy that's retarded logic...

  • @marky77 No it isn't. People overeat (and hence gain weight) because of some metabolic disorder (high carbs). Gary Taubes' idea.

  • @tomheppy I call bullshit on that idea.

People overeat because food tastes good. All this "it isn't their fault" political correctness is ridiculous. I agree that a SMALL percentage (like 1%) of people have a thyroid or other disorder in which weight gain is unavoidable and a similar small percentage overeat because of emotional problems, but the majority is just greed/laziness.

  • @marky77 Even if it's greed or laziness, what's the point? Are you flawless or perfect? Middle Ages is over, capital sins too, we can talk about health problems such as obesity in a modern and scientific way, stop with this religious/superstitious attitudes - "it's your fault! you're guilty!". Obesity is not a crime.

  • @sontag21 It is, if you live in a country with universal health care... Weight related health problems cost society way too much. It's like smokers who claim it's their right to smoke, but still expect taxes to cover their lung cancer treatment.

When you're overweight, it comes down to two things: you're eating too much food and you're not getting enough excersize. So how about spending a bit less time blaming others and wallowing in self pity, so you have more time for sport.

  • @marky77 Thank you! this is a load of crap. your weight is in your own hands.

  • @marky77 saved me the effort of all that typein, well said

  • @marky77 nice to see you so sure of your opinion, have you got the stats to back that up? Or are you just an arsehole?

  • Geez... Stop blaming the food industry!!! Eat better/less & exercise.

Learn to read nutritional value lables.

  • Same reason why people are alcoholics, drug addicts and fat. LACK OF DISCIPLINE!

Losing weight is so simple, yet people have to make excuses and blame it on others.. Pathetic.

  • @Discussd there is misinformation though, like.. i lost 160 pounds over a year's time, but i researched WAY more than anyone else did, most go for low calories and fat, while in reality to lose weight you need to reduce carbs and increase protein/fat/fiber that isn't processed. Over a year now, i've been underweight (my metabolism went crazy and i just can't gain weight unless i over do it with junk) , the dieters who started with me, gained half back.

  • @Discussd so you are saying that it has nothing to do with pyschological factors and medicines that they may be on and medical conditions, I have been losing weight, but having recently put on weight again because of medical steroids which I have been put on several times before and the same thing has happened, don't group everyone in the same category it's not fair for those that don't really have control and our bodies and or minds don't work correctly,

  • @Discussd You can't compare being a drug addict to being fat. first drugs are ILLEGAL and NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE.. unlike eating food. sugar is a drug, it should be banned. like alcohol, which is more harmful than cannabis. we need to step up as a society and stop these large companies exploiting us! just because, at the moment it is acceptable DOES NOT MEAN IT IS OK. kidnapping and assaulting young boys was acceptable in ancient greece, does that mean we should do it?

  • @Discussd I don't know about that, many young kids are fatasfatasses because of their parents habits.

They give them food, pin food on them and don't do anything about it, some who hate their weight take it out on their own children by feeding them more to make them feel better.

But, it doesn't fucking matter why you are overweight, the thing is you are. You need to be fit and healthy.

  • @Discussd I agree w/you to some point, but weight loss is not that simple. Not only is it a psychological thing, it's a physical thing as well. I used to weigh 220. Now I weigh 150. Trust me, the journey wasn't easy. It takes a lot of heart. I was abused as a child, & found happiness in food for several yrs. I had to find a positive way to channel my emotions. You are right, there are NO excuses for destryoing your body. Don't be so judgemental when you haven't walked in a person's shoes.

  • That's the hammer on the... anything that is bad for you will always be cheaper and sometime free. Pay attention the coupons in stores...you will hardly or never see any for a bag of fruits or vegetable. It comes down to let go that stuff and excercsie and I being 308 exercise everday for one hour but turn my fat in muscle and weigh more now..

    .

  • A lot of thin people eat burgers and drink coke. And McDonalds aren't as bad as they were.

  • thanks for uploading

  • that blonde chick looks like veronica mars

  • @jillstillrules169 She's way more pretty/attractive than her.

  • Don't blame others for being fat and don't feel bad for yourself because you're fat. You're are not forced to be non-active or eat the sh!t you see on t.v.
