with WMM you can upconvert it to 720p/1080p but that doesnt make the videoquality any better. Because your video was made below that level. So if you play it on 720p/1080p it won't be any sharper and it wont have better quality because the video isnt that big itself.
@2x100miljoenmiljard Well yes the video is shot in a 480i resolution and using WMM it can be published at an HD resolution. The video does not gain sharpness or quality as you say BUT by adding the extra pixels the playback quality is made better depending on the screen resolution you are watching the video on (like watching a dvd on a dvd player that upconverts it to 720p or 1080i). Some video cameras that claim to be HD automatically do this upconversion internally, its no different.
