@aassyr111 "written with a pick" you obviously don't play bass as music can be played with or without a pick. Though to help with different tone effects a pick is optional...I play bass and I strongly believe that a bass guitar should never ever be picked!

Open your eyes man. The whole point of a cover isn't to sound exactly like the original composer. He puts his own feel into it just like Jason did. Maybe he likes the tone of his fingers better than the pick. It's not a matter of cloning what Jason does as it is a matter of just being able to play it the way you want to play it.
