Beagles are the best. I had a pure bred that was "my" pet. But, that little sucker was a family pet which knew how to pretect females. I remember "play fighting" against my sister and her friend, and my beagle would attact me. Never once would I hold that against him. Although a dog, he had great human morals. Gotta love the hound dogs. THEY ARE THE BEST! R.I.P CHIPPER! You will not be missed.

I have heard that beagles are difficult dogs to deal with when the get a bit older.. I don't know for sure.. I have always had golden retrievers and though they are supposedly a very intelligent breed our last dog was the stupidest dog on the planet and i loved him for it :-P In any case I think that beagles and labrador retrievers make the all-time cutest puppies!
