ULTRAMARINES - Questions and Answers

It's funny how people get annoyed at how they say Ultramarines are the greatest. What are they supposed to say "One of the better chapters are the Ultramarines."

Since both this movie and the Spacemarine game depict the Ultramarines chapter, there must be something there, the grey knights are just not main stream enough

You can tell in the trailer that they've released that the enemy's chaos. Even though they've clearly made an effort to keep the antagonists from being revealed, you can simply tell by the ammunition type.... Bolter. They're either fighting against Chaos Space Marines for other Imperial forces...in which case SOMEONE's going to end up the heretic.

@Jamreaper The grey knights are powerful but the Ultramarines have the most numbers compared to any other chapter. Besides, they fought off tau and tyranids! Grey knight terminators are still great though.

@GHeaneyXIII nope the grey knights have about x3 the numbers of the ultra marines (~3000 for the grey knights at or less than 1000 for the ultramarines)

@timotej121 Na it wont be, the dividing into chapter such as Ultramarines and Blood ravens only happened after the Horus Heresy to prevent the majority of marines being tainted. example if Imperial fist goes chaos it will only be that chapter that will be tainted.

In all likelihood, the film is going to look and focus more on the Imperium than anything else (as it should do) so its fairly pointless to ask who they'll fight. We don't want another Starship Troopers movie, we want the 40k movie, and all that that implies.

@morefistshaking Hey, they are, just that whoever wrote the Codexes for the pups and the Ginger Beers cheesed them beyond cheese, so totally wrong. BA are just inches from being Khorne berzerkers, while the pups are well, savages in marine armour. Ultramarines 'live' the codex Astartes, they are the best of the best, the Chosen ones.

fucking smurfs....... Space Wolves are clearly the superior space marine chapter i mean... .their psycotic bloodthirsty werewolf space vikings who are win... unlike the ultramarines who have yet to do anything cool or interesting in lore. Atleast give us a black templar movie but the smurfs are just pathetic... but you never know this might be their time to shine. And with the platform game coming out they might actually become a cool chapter.
