Trained and flew my Kalipollo (Harris, Bay Wing, parabuteo u.) in Mexico City in the 80's. Knew to avoid live wires, cars, other hazzards.
Got rats, rabbit, possum, pigeon, a neighbors macaw (long story!). Always looking up, taught to find many birds of prey in the skies of a big city. Never a problem. Highest risk was going for a poodle, pekignese or worse, a cat, and aborted at the las second.
