  • I've been thinking of buying this plane as my second plane. (Currently have a SIG Kadet EP-40) How is it to fly?

  • I am thinking of buying this plane. Looks like a good second step after super cub for an amateur

  • This is much bigger and a lot heavier that a SuperCub, I haven't flown the plane but I would recommend something like the EFlite Mini Pulse XT to learn how to fly a plane with ailerons first, I have one and love it.

    Good luck with it :)

  • I agree, andrew. The mini Pulse XT was a great plane to start on. it's very stable and it can still do some great aerobatics

  • Theres a lot you can do with a Super Cub. Get a better radio and esc, and use lipo's. I have floats made for mine and with stock motor and a lipo it has no problem taking off the water. Also people cut ailerons in the wing and put some small hs-55 servos in there and you have a foamy aileron trainer. The pulse xt is good also. Will teach you how to land the right way. I love my xt.
