@EmperorTigerstar This is sadly not true. Modern primary literature is much more disputed and most of the Origo gentis are provenly wrong or uncheckable mystifyed made-up(that was the purpose of it). I read alot about the topic, and as much as I want to see the goths coming from there, I do not agree in any way that historians believe the Goths in particular came from Scandinavia. a particular scandinavian influence on the people from Gothiskanza is today completely missing.

@pajjen11 It could be but they did come from the Baltic state area and many historians and archeologists in Lithuania find many language and culture simmilarities to the Baltic language and culture.Just like Gaetians (Getai/Gūdai) and Thracians (Trakai (which is a region in Lithuania even)) those nations had the same simmilarities and the population that lived there many people had Baltic names :)

this time only one thing is worth remarking - the huns never got nay near the baltic. the eurasian steppes end in ukraine, europe south of the baltic sea was deeply forested. from the hunnic pov, there was nothing there worth conquering.

@EmperorTigerstar the Huns got to germany and even rome. europe is mixed as hell the whole world is mostly. once ships and agriculture were invented people werent isolated. and traveled abroad and fucked eachother lol. alot of people who look black or w/e skin type have white ancestors visa versa. alot of euro people have some hun blood also and medditeranian blood.

It is the same in southern USA, where lot of whites or blacks could find ancestors of the other color into their genealogic trees, despite former racial problems.
In America, Indians mixed up with whites and blacs.

@bronkoghma If the Hunnish empire is synonymous with the Mongols or the Golden Horde then yes. The Mongols owned( or established a tributary state) most of Russia, most of China, Ukraine, and Lithuania. The mongol empire was largest empire in human history.

@yamron420 West roman empire was green, and east roman empire was red. The east romam empire renamed themselves to byzantine empire a little after the west roman empire was destroyed. So in a sense, the roman empire existed all the way up until 1453 AD!

@Crashandburn999 Actually, the Eastern Empire never renamed themselves anything. They continued calling themselves the "Roman Empire" until their destruction by the Turks in 1453 AD. It was only a century after their empire fell, that the term "Byzantine Empire" was coined by historians from Western Europe.
