  • ya ,this song is nice i like very much , but there some words are wrong ,like འཚོ་གཞིས་ i think its not Tsoshi its Chokshi ཕྱོགས་བཞི་ means four direction,

    also there some more ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • wonderful song!!. Tibetan text has a spelling error. "chokshe" ghan-gi koryoe lyric's (spelling of "chok-she" should be the spelling of "four directions".

  • It is just so beautiful modern song by this young man. Excellent!

  • Interesting drum-mix! :-) Thanks for posting.

  • A draft of the translation of this song Tibet, my fatherland, Tibet, a beautiful Shangrila of the Earth Surrounded by four rivers and snows Wonderful culture, prevails my land Enlighten the world from the darkness Unite the heart pacify your nature Uplift our Fatherland, Raise your identity higher Om Mani Padme Hun Tibet, my fatherland Heat
  • I would like the text to appear in English as well as I haven't any idea what they are singing about, hence the song doesn't allow a emotional response.

    good sound though attractive participants.

  • C'mon people, nothing is strange in terms of the shape of the albhalet/ letter. The songs are written in Uchen and Umey. Unless you are a non-Tibetan or lack literacy in Tibetan language. I don't mean to offend you. My son who is in grade 3 can read both script, as they are the most common script taught in any Tibetan schools.

  • oh.... yeah,,caz i am not tibetan... strange to me.. lol

  • I'm Inji and just a beginner Tibetan student and find Umey quite difficult. So does a friend whose mother tongue is Dzongka. I guess its just a matter of practice though and i will do my best. : 0

    Anyway its a great song, she-taa thug-jee che-na

  • Wow...! Another great hit! Indeed, this is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, absolutely amazing!

    *****

Recently, there have been lots of hits coming out, one after another. All expressing Tibet's unique identity and historical roots, and conveying deep messages in powerful ways. A sign of a troubled people awakening in the face of the trauma under the rule of a repressive leadership!

  • Hi Jigdo, It would be great and much appreciated If you can also post this on your Tibetansongs blog.

  • The song is on my blog

  • Very true!!

  • oh!!!!strange tibetan alphabet shape!!!! bhoe . nga ei sempa phayul !! :)) like it!!!!
