  • COOL!

  • i just did a kyoshi warropr look today, and i came across yours! this is beautiful: the video art is brillliant! and the makeup, although it's different, is gorgeous! i've subbed :3

  • ok that was cool...

  • my lil bro is going as Aang so i decided to go as Suki. thank you so much for this :)

  • Thanks so much for making this!

  • @abbiehollie13 You're welcome ^_^

  • All the girls in my villiage wanna be a kyoshi warrior~

This is awesome, I actually forget how much fun makeup is!

  • Thanks for this, it is a very useful vid! How long would it take to do this make-up? I know it's the length of the vid but some part were faster etc. (-:

  • @FoxInAShoe Hmm if you know what you're doing and you've done it couple times/are experienced with face paint etc. I think it could take as little as 30 min - 45 min but if it's your first time, maybe 1-2 hours? Mostly because of having to wait for layers to dry and stuff :)

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! :) I'M USING THIS FOR CARTOON DAY AT MY CHURCH AND I JUST LOVE THE LOOK ^_^ thanks for uploading !!! Can I show you mine??

  • @kurichanmichele584 You are very welcome :) I'd love to see what you come up with, feel free to message me pictures on my Audfaced Facebook or post a video response ^__^

  • I love your tutorials, I find them easy to follow and they make everything clear :)

  • You know what I respect about your video(and I really do mean this) is that you use brands that can be found at reasonable prices and or from a variety of places. Most tutorials use brands that I find to be expensive or sold only from a few sources. This video makes it feel like anyone could truely do this. You keep it real here, and I like that.

  • @SugarNSpice2010 Thank you very much :)

  • Niiiiiiiiiiice! Awesome. It looks like you just came out of the movie xD You should do makeup from a character from Memoirs of Gesha i thnk it is called. :D

  • Very impressive! Thanks for explaining it so thoroughly :-)

  • @xxCimarronColoradoxx You are very welcome! ^__^

  • @audfaced Would it also be possible to use vaseline or something on the eyebrows instead of glue (or is glue better)? I thought I'd ask you before I tried it lol =)

  • @xxCimarronColoradoxx eek i'd def. say no to vaseline o__o it will smear off your makeup, that stuff can kind of work as a makeup remover! x)

  • @audfaced ok lol thanks! i'm glad i asked! =)

  • And where did you get the music???

  • That is so impressive I'm so freaking speechless....you would do so well in Japanese films you got the looks

  • @Prettyelf77 ^__^ thank you very much! and i got the music off YouTube ... i think one is called Rising Sun? i searched for "japanese drum beats" xD

  • oh my god. I LOVE YOU. avatar is the best freaking series ever.

  • This ones awesome! Can you make one for valentines day?

  • Oh wow! You have amazing videos! Your editing and everything is awesome! Great look! <3

  • where did u get the songs please answer ur vids r awsome and the so r the song

  • @destinymr12z I usually find them on the Internet and record them heh. Music is quite important to uphold a theme in a video, in my opinion! :) and thank you ...

  • Oh, this will come in handy for my Suki cosplay.

  • @twilight5577 i searched "yellow fans" or "golden yellow fans" on Google Shopping and found the best deal heh

  • Thanks so much for posting this! It was a huge help when I dressed as Kyoshi warrior this Halloween. I have some experience with SFX makeup but I still needed guidance, and I was NOT gonna settle for messing this up. It came out awesome, and I'm looking for an excuse to wear the costume again.

  • @mirrormasquerade you are welcome!! it's soo awesome whenever my videos are able to help people out. <3

  • Wow, I'm so trying this out for Otakon!

  • @IllusiaLune good luck! :)

  • this is awsome i do sketching for the make up i do too lol

  • @PenniRockx it really helps sometimes, right? :) and i bet they practice that in makeup school *nudge nudge*

  • @audfaced lol girl heck yeh it do haha it's like a planning thing lol

  • This is marvelous.

How in the world am I *just* finding you? O.o

  • I'm so gonna try this out! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! <3

  • @pinaymoonlight yes!! have fun girl :)

  • cool!

  • @jean3tte i would just like to say that after you commented on my Kyoshi Warrior video I went to your channel then got caught in a delightful string of watching Little Mermaid broadway videos that I enjoyed. So thank you. Hahaha :) Just thought I would share that

  • @audfaced lol. what can i say? i'm a little mermaid nut! especially the broadway production. :D glad you enjoyed them! :)

  • you look good as a kyoshi warrior.

  • @stherianthrope why thank you

  • omggg. i love avatar. i subscribed :)

  • I greatly look forward to more Avatar tutorials from you! I think you should give The Painted Lady a shot.

  • this is so fierce.

  • My fav. Look. Fierce intro with the fans!

  • You sound like MichellPhan ! Are you her sister ?

  • @mayhong12avatar hahaha noo I'm not. i'm just another asian girl with a similar voice that also makes makeup tutorials ^_^

  • You sound like MichellPhan !

  • Thx! Now I can be like one LOL

  • so much help! thank you!

  • @missmisery91 you are so welcome! ^_^

  • I love this video and I can't wait to see what other Avatar-inspired tutorials you come up with! Awesome job!!! :D

  • @amandakcampbell thank you so so much!

  • "ho ho ho" hahahhahahahahah

  • @soymoon yes yes ... i see finally someone noticed my Santa moment. hahahaha

  • is the fans maked out of paper?

  • @mrdesjove haha noo they're this weird kind of fabric ... i bought them online :P but i bet realistically they should be paper, huh?

  • uhm You're doing it wrong. The red isn't supposed to go all the way down your nose and it isn't supposed to go under your eyes just keep the red above your eye and below your brow. The black follows the brow line so that when they show emotion you can see it.

  • @elKittenful interesting point but i never said you HAD to do it this exact way in the tutorial. the eyebrows and where the red parts are drawn are totally up to whoever paints it. this is more of a guide.

  • Awesome job! I love the Jyoshi warriors, they are my favorite! I have the same makeup kit too. I love all colors.

  • @KyukyoukuTuffy aw thanks! that's great, you can be a kyoshi warrior woman too ... and many other creative things :)

  • the kyoshi warriors rock and so bummed they were not in the movie...grrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • oh i never thought of glue on eyebrows! thank you!

  • @AbbyAlmonte you're very welcome! i learned it from someone on YouTube awhile back as well ^_^

  • i LOVE this video, the makeup is amazing and especially the way you did the intro!

  • what is the title of the background music that u used

    thnx :)

  • @sideglider Hmm I believe they're both Japanese based songs because I felt that Kyoshi was influenced by Japanese culture more than any other. Search "crazy japanese drum beat" on Youtube for the first song. Second song was a Taiko japanese drum beat I think it was called Rising Sun :)

  • this is good (: I was wondering, where did you get your costume?

  • @dianerssaurus thank you! it's actually not much of a costume ... i just had a green open-up top with a belt string that you can tie around the waist except i put it on my head. the black gloves are just bought on their own. Though I'm sure you can make your own or buy some online!

  • Wow! This was super helpful! I tried doing my own Kyoshi warrior makeup for Halloween last year, turns out I did alot wrong XD This year should be better. Very interesting, I actually paid attention the whole time!

  • @AliJoTheGleek It takes a lot to pay attention for nearly 10 minutes ... so that is a huge compliment, thank you :D And, remember, there are many different ways to style the design of the face paint, so I doubt you were doing anything "wrong" :D Good luck for Halloween and thank you for letting me know!

  • so Kyoshi warriors glue their eyebrows to their face to wear their makeup!?

  • @SangoLaLobaKat haha I dunno but it just helps the hairs blend in more as opposed to having fuzzy red hairs under the drawn-on ones.

  • lol, I think I use the same Michael's brushes, so great for lining/cream stuff

  • Very awesome and helpful tutorial (especially for cosplay!) I can't wait to try this makeup on my own for when I decide to work on my Ty-Lee cosplay! :D

  • Really cool!!! :) I want to try, but are the red colour like a water colour or something? :)

  • @CeciliaBarnes Try it! It takes awhile but you feel like a freakin warrior woman when you're done. I bought this basic face painting kit from Michael's, an arts & crafts store. The brand was Snazaroo. I don't think regular watercoor paint will work too well on the face o__o

  • @audfaced Ok, I'll try it and try to send you a picture of it!

  • its like im watching a movie, but it the end its just a makeup tutorial.. bonggacious! love it :)

  • @chew23 yay! that's what i was aiming for :)

  • wow,it´s beautiful

  • wow this video is so great , i love this one ^^

  • WOW!!!!!

  • beautiful! can't wait to try it out : D

  • @soymoon if you do and you can, please take a picture :D i wanna seeee

  • this was amazing you are the best makeup artist and video editor

  • loveee it!

  • love it

  • you have some badass video editting skills!

  • awww thanks everyone! i love making these videos and i figured, if someone is going to watch an almost 10-minute video i should at least try to entertain them while trying to give some makeup tips :D

  • agree with everyone...the way you make your videos is FANTASTIC! not only are the looks creative and well done, it's just so fun to watch and not to sound like a creeper, but i really like your voice...a lot. haha ^_^

  • I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR TIS ONE!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!

  • wow this looks really good and i love the way you film/edit your videos makes them so much more fun to watch

and i also really like all the backrounds you have in your video:D
