its a combination of greenscreen and CG. first they film a couch with cats sitting on it, with the blank spot on the sofa. then they film seperately a guy in a cat suit, standing up and dancing against a greenscreen (maybe CG the head); so that when he's reinserted into the real footage he's to scale with the other real cats.
