This is amazing, I couldn't just put down Popular Mechanics after reading about this car: I had to see it for myself. All I can say is: If I don't get to fly over beautiful scenery with this car at least once in my life, I will not be satisfied. The concept is just so simplistic and freeing. Maybe I should apply for that job delivering medicine in the Amazon?

In testing so far landing and take off about 13 kts at a 45 with predictability. We think about the same as a cessna 150 or 15kts.

sure you can, this thing is a dune buggy on the ground and a very practical way to get around.

An ultralight can only have one person, weigh 254lbs,carry 5 gal of fuel etc. this vehicle carries 4. 20 gal of fuel, etc.

from what i heard is that its extremly stable and a thing to point out is that it was made for short range flying (also its main funtion is not flying it is like a all terrion vechile) btw it goes 0-60 in 5.5 seconds :D and it has the same controlds of a car :D last note. its not really being made for personal use but for mission work. and last thing to say is that there still testing it :D u can look on itecs webstie for more infor

This is incredible!! Having a tough ground drivable powered parachute with a mast system is very innovative. This would be perfect for farmers to check fence lines and look for sick or dead livestock. Land then drive up to them, load them up and either drive back to the barn or fly if the weight would handle it!! Great job guys!!
