If you like hokey camera work and no story then by all means enjoy. I've watched it 3 times, really wanted to like it, but found it utterly lifeless – and in need of some considerable editing. I swear this film is burned into my mind. I watched it about 2 weeks ago and still I am finding new things, different ways to analyze it and looking at it from an other perspective. The only other film to fuck me up like this has to be "Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom" ....watching that was like being raped!

@ph03n1xamb1t I think his film is playing at three theaters in the U.S., so I wouldn't say people are lazy, they just don't have the money or time to dedicate to travel just to see a 2 hour film. I would have loved to see it this way, it just wasn't an option. If you want to criticize Americans, it should be because they'd rather watch the latest from Spielberg than an independent film like this. Trust me the French are just as bad. Actually most Europeans are probably becoming this way too.

I'd think you'd understand something so blatantly obvious given that our entire society is centric about relative representations of just about everything. @JamieXRainbowz If you look at the films being produced in the U.S. as simply products, whose quality is largely determined by the amount of money invested in advertising, then it's easy to see that these major movie studios couldn't care less, because they know they're going to turn a profit regardless of what's playing. What else is the average person going to do on the weekend? That's consumer culture though, which has contaminated everything from music, to art, fashion, etc.
