What wwe needs is better ppv booking and they need to cut dwon on some PPV"s so they can have a better builds towards them. I would bring back Umaga to SD and Orlando Jordan to ECW and Nigel McGinneuse and Bryan Daneilson should be a cool face tag team on raw to make it better! :)

And Now, we have Batista getting back into a title picture where Taker is carrying the belt. And better yet, there is a high possibility of Cena losing the Iron Man Match to Orton & then going over to SD, and we KNOW that whatever show Cena is on, he will be booked to look like Superman & eat everybody beneath him alive. Also we have DX feuding with Jerishow & if DX wins those tag titles...boy oh boy, DX gets to bring their unfunny act to Friday Nights & fuck over Harts like they did Legacy
Any hopes I had of a possible Morrison vs. Punk Wrestlemania Title match are almost dead now. And I fear it could actually be Cena/Batista...again! Because God forbid we try something new with far more compelling characters!!!
Punk has been screwed. Morrison cant move up to face him, which means Ziggler cant move up from where he is, which means that McIntyre & various others cant move up to IC Title level. Its a vicious domino effect that could ruin the Best Brand the WWE had & it sucks.
Oh and going back to DX winning the tag titles, not only would that lead to D-Geriactric X being on both shows and embarrassing themselves every week, it would also fuck up ANOTHER Smackdown feud in the works, Jericho/Edge.

(1) Propably they put the DX match last, because the segment with Orton and Legacy talking may lead to sth, so they wanted to put it after Orton winning and before Legacy losing.
(2) Expect the DX match, the booking of the other 2 HIAC matches had no point being in a HIAC. They didn't even use it almost.
This is just my opinion but i think these matches didnt give enough umph or pazaz cuz of WWE's kiddy view of pro-wrestling, even tho ur prolly gonna say "the attitude era was nuttin differnt' at least it had blood and swearing and made matches look like MATCHES and promos look like PROMOS not all this little kid stuff...they should bring the attitude era back but with new guys this time, make WWE more for ppl 18-36 not 3-14

I like a good story, and I feel that if you have a good story for a match or show, the match is more entertaining as a result. I value the stories that surround a match as much, if not more, than the matches themselves. As far as I'm concerned London and Kendrick could have had a five star Match of the Year contender on an episode of Heat but what would have been the point if no one gave a shit about them, or the match had no meaning behind it? Try to think about that.
The post match celebration for DX seemed to go on for an awkwardly long time. It almost looked like they didn't know what to do, leave the ring or stay and pose some more ?

To me it seemed like they wanted to have orton and cena have enough time(cant say the same for punk and undertaker since that was short anyways) By putting DX and Legacy at the end of the ppv they were able to just stall with the beatdown of michaels and HHH getting the cutters....I think thats the reasoning for the order.
i think there was suppose to be blood in the cena/orton match...during the match cena's thumb was cut from a razor blade which im sure he was suppose to use and orton dropped his razor blade after a suplex from cena, which the ref picked up and pocketed.

Thanks for giving Punk/Taker the credit it deserved with that star rating. I think most people are paying too much attention to the time and not the match quality. It was a really fun match to see live and the crowd really marked out for Taker winning.
The smackdown before the ppv annoyed me, again HHH stayed out of the tag match until toward the end made punk look a chump and no credible threat to UT at ppv. I agree with Moral, time for a tirade on HHH - you should be able to freestyle at least 40 mins!
The HBK vs Legacy match was crying out for blood. In the past HBK was busted open for the slightest of hits. After getting completely battered by Legacy, there was nothing. That ruined the match for me.
The PPV went dead when R Truth vs Drew McIntyre came on. Couldn't hear the commentary with all the BORING chants. Overall it was a ok PPV. The crowd were certainly pro heels.
Whoa, first time I've disagreed much with TSlay! I thought this PPV was fantastic, 7.5/10 at least. Dolph vs JOMO, Orton vs Cena, Tag Title, and DX vs Legacy all **** IMO. Taker vs Punk was the only letdown, they really should have given it more time, and there were a couple of rubbish filler matches, but it was very solid, varied and enjoyable as a whole.
if there was one title i thought should have changed hands last night it would be the us title. As far as taker being the new world champ i cant realy see that lasting long in his current condition. I thought we might at least get a spot on top of the cell in one of the matches after that teaser on raw last week but no. All in all there were a couple of good matches but the ppv as a whole was how can i put it....sucky sucky ball ball.

During the Orton-Cena match, I saw a blade fly from Cena. Ref picked it up and put it away. So, I'm assuming there was going to be blood, until that happened.
I actually quite liked the Pay Per View, it was nothing special but Randy Orton vs John Cena and especially DX vs Legacy was what HIAC is all about, torture. Legacy didn't even need to win that match after the torture they placed on Shawn Michaels, yeah it would of been a nice bonus but Legacy have looked fantastic in this feud to the point where I could see DiBiase winning the Rumble. Might be a bit of a stretch but ah well.
i admit the pg does put a dampener on things but using blood sparingly is far more effective than every match being a blood bath, if the talent is good enough at selling the moves you rarely need to use blood to make the point. the cage matches wheren't the best but minus the horrible booking order this wasn't a bad ppv the majority of the matches where above average matches.
Would of been nice to have a ECW title match insted of the R-Truth vs Drew McIntyre match. Would of liked to see Christian vs William Regal vs Zack Ryder(or if Zack is still not ready have Regal vs Christian)
I just listened to Meltzer a little: The story is that on the European Tour, Taker nicely told Punk that he is representing the company overseas and should dress better. Punk supposedly said, "What about John Cena?" The conversation somehow got back to management and that is why he lost to Taker.
It really does make you wonder who is getting paid to think this stuff up. You also have to wonder if there is some sort of correlation between the decreasing ratings and popularity of the WWE with it's move to a PG rating.
Wrestling is inherently a violent form of entertainment. Kids see tons of blood and violence playing games on their Playstation or X Box. This PPV pretty much summed up everything that is wrong with the WWE currently.
Just to review all wwe PPVs this year sucked real bad except for NO way out this year there is three ppv left in the year and i can tell that there are all going to be mediocre for now i m a TNA fan it not any better but for now thats what i watch.
in the cena vs orton match I would of had cena set up a table out side along the cage and have him climb on the of the cage hanging off and drop down on orton

While watching it online, the cena match looked like every other cena match iv ever seen, and all the matches before that looked lame as hell, besides the tag title match, hell that should of been the main event. but anyway i turned it off during the cena match it sucked so much.
i definatly agree that the ppv would have been a 7/8 if taker was at full health and that match had been 15 mins taking 5 off of orton/cena and they'd got the match order right as it was 6 maybe 6.5.

i was there live, and reverse order (and maybe swap the WHC/WWE spots) definitely could have made the evening flow MUCH MUCH better. after the opening pyro, i'm thinking we're starting with taker/punk?! at the end of the night i'm telling my cousin the exact thing i was thinking coming in, i jumped on these tickets coz i always wanted to see a HIAC live so i ain't complaining we saw 3, but that realistically was 1 ok HIAC (DX/Legacy) and 2 cage matches that happened to have a roof = ruining HIAC
Personally i didn't like this PPV, the Hell in a Cell matches were extremely disappointing but i have to disagree with you on the order of the matches, i thought having DX vs Legacy as the Main Event was a great move on WWE's part because it's all about putting young talent over and by putting DiBiase and Rhodes in the Main Event it makes them look a lot more credible and gives them a taste of what their future holds because you never know they may Main Event a WrestleMania one day.

(1) Propably they put the DX match last, because the segment with Orton and Legacy talking may lead to sth, so they wanted to put it after Orton winning and before Legacy losing.
(2) Expect the DX match, the booking of the other 2 HIAC matches had no point being in a HIAC. They didn't even use it almost.
(3) I put 6.75 on the PPV.

This is just my opinion but i think these matches didnt give enough umph or pazaz cuz of WWE's kiddy view of pro-wrestling, even tho ur prolly gonna say "the attitude era was nuttin differnt' at least it had blood and swearing and made matches look like MATCHES and promos look like PROMOS not all this little kid stuff...they should bring the attitude era back but with new guys this time, make WWE more for ppl 18-36 not 3-14

I like a good story, and I feel that if you have a good story for a match or show, the match is more entertaining as a result. I value the stories that surround a match as much, if not more, than the matches themselves. As far as I'm concerned London and Kendrick could have had a five star Match of the Year contender on an episode of Heat but what would have been the point if no one gave a shit about them, or the match had no meaning behind it? Try to think about that.

To me it seemed like they wanted to have orton and cena have enough time(cant say the same for punk and undertaker since that was short anyways) By putting DX and Legacy at the end of the ppv they were able to just stall with the beatdown of michaels and HHH getting the cutters....I think thats the reasoning for the order.

The smackdown before the ppv annoyed me, again HHH stayed out of the tag match until toward the end made punk look a chump and no credible threat to UT at ppv. I agree with Moral, time for a tirade on HHH - you should be able to freestyle at least 40 mins!

The HBK vs Legacy match was crying out for blood. In the past HBK was busted open for the slightest of hits. After getting completely battered by Legacy, there was nothing. That ruined the match for me.

Whoa, first time I've disagreed much with TSlay! I thought this PPV was fantastic, 7.5/10 at least. Dolph vs JOMO, Orton vs Cena, Tag Title, and DX vs Legacy all **** IMO. Taker vs Punk was the only letdown, they really should have given it more time, and there were a couple of rubbish filler matches, but it was very solid, varied and enjoyable as a whole.

if there was one title i thought should have changed hands last night it would be the us title. As far as taker being the new world champ i cant realy see that lasting long in his current condition. I thought we might at least get a spot on top of the cell in one of the matches after that teaser on raw last week but no. All in all there were a couple of good matches but the ppv as a whole was how can i put it....sucky sucky ball ball.

If those rumors are true then WWE are really fucked up, but it also wouldn't make any sense on having them have their prized possession being defended on the 1st match of the PPV anf the match was like 10 mins...... WWE buried one of their reliable superstars, I'm not saying that Taker isn't realiable but the man's about to break every bone in his body if he doesn't retire soon, Punk should have kept the world title and atleast should have lost it at TLC, the match of the night JOMO and Ziggles.

I actually quite liked the Pay Per View, it was nothing special but Randy Orton vs John Cena and especially DX vs Legacy was what HIAC is all about, torture. Legacy didn't even need to win that match after the torture they placed on Shawn Michaels, yeah it would of been a nice bonus but Legacy have looked fantastic in this feud to the point where I could see DiBiase winning the Rumble. Might be a bit of a stretch but ah well.

i admit the pg does put a dampener on things but using blood sparingly is far more effective than every match being a blood bath, if the talent is good enough at selling the moves you rarely need to use blood to make the point. the cage matches wheren't the best but minus the horrible booking order this wasn't a bad ppv the majority of the matches where above average matches.

Wrestling is inherently a violent form of entertainment. Kids see tons of blood and violence playing games on their Playstation or X Box. This PPV pretty much summed up everything that is wrong with the WWE currently.

Personally i didn't like this PPV, the Hell in a Cell matches were extremely disappointing but i have to disagree with you on the order of the matches, i thought having DX vs Legacy as the Main Event was a great move on WWE's part because it's all about putting young talent over and by putting DiBiase and Rhodes in the Main Event it makes them look a lot more credible and gives them a taste of what their future holds because you never know they may Main Event a WrestleMania one day.

First off, I didn't gloss over anything. Nothing you said deserved a response, simple as that... I made a small reply to your comment and you resorted to name calling. Second, I really don't care how old you are or how long you've been watching wrestling. This PPV was garbarge and if you've really seen that much wrestling you'd be able to recognize that. And you may be content enough to just "enjoy what they have now", but I'm not going to fork out my hard earned money for a below average PPV.

Why do I still watch? Because I like wrestling and I hold at least a small hope that one day it might be good. Just because your favorite sports team is having an off year doesn't mean you should abandon them for something better. The same applies here.

yes the dx match had good spots....but that could have been done in a normal cage match...calling that a hell in a cell match is insulting to its legacy...you gotta agree with me on that.....that was not a hell in a cell match...none of them were
