This is great! South Park is my favorite show and I'm in school for animation so I'm super stoked to play with your rig! I will let you know how it goes!
Bro..you did an awesome job. I am now looking for more of your videos on youtube. I just finished one of my cartoons and it is complete garbage compared to this. Would you be insterested in creating characters for money? Please respond at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time.
I have been harboring hopes that my rather complex personal story might become a Hollywood movie. Terrorists, Gangsters, Black Magic, Interpol, as this stuff happened to me and much more.
This software makes it easy for me to tell my story
I'm going to buy this software, tell my story as a cartoon, put it on Youtube and who knows?
Brilliant video!!! I would have laughed if your animation of Cartman came to life on it's own and said "AYE, DON'T CALL ME FAT YOU BUTT FUCKIN' SON OF A BITCH" XD haha awesome!! and now I head over to all your other videos :)
can you make a tutorial on making the South Park style walk cycle? Your's is pretty goddamn good, I'm close but it just doesn't look natural, btw, be pretentious all you want your's are the best! and now I've got the perfect templates to make my own character so those bastards over at Viacom don't get pissed off! :)
@emmanceb I'll see if I can. It's pretty simple, but it's a visual thing. I haven't been making any tutorials lately because I've been creating a website for my tutorials (which is up now), I'm waiting for a new microphone to arrive, and I've been talking to the manager of Smith Micro (this program's company) about somehow integrating these tutorials with their product Anime Studio
I've been pretty busy, but the walk cycle tutorial is a good Idea and I'll work on that when I can.
@AnimeStudioPro101 Thanks for your reply, I agree, it is a visual thing. I downloaded a SP clip and overlayed my characters on it in Anime Studio so I could copy the walk cycle and I got it down. It looks like you've got your hands full :) , congrats for having all that going on for you!
figured it out, in case anyone wants to change the skin color of the characters, here is how you change the color of the square around the mouth to match the character.
1) Select one of the mouth layers inside of the mouth group.
2) Activate the "Create Shape" tool, or shortcut key U (in AS8, not sure about prev. versions)
3) Click inside of the square and hit space
oh and don't forget to change your fill color beforehand as this is the color it will inherit, hope this helps someone ;)
ok so i changed the colors of one of the characters, however I don't know how to change the color of the mask-like box around the mouth without completely messing up the mouth, does anyone know how to?
Hey, thanks for the characters! :) One question though, how do you make an imported file smaller? Like, I made a background, but I wanna be able to fit all the characters in, but can only fit one. D:
