Thompson is the most conservative candidate. Period. His record is strong, he's not a flip-flop, and he's not a pansy.

He should win SC. He gave up Michigan for SC and if he doesn't win and Huckabee or McCain win the nomination then God help us.

Exactly. Thompson & others have not stopped or reduced abortion. It was made a federal issue by the Supreme Court and unless a politican wants to point out that the judicial system doesn't make law or amend the Constitution, we NEED an amendment to reverse their "amendment."

Thompson said he had a 100% pro-life record in the Senate. Of course, that doesn't say much, since Senate leaders have never permitted any tough pro-life measures to make it to the floor! On marriage, Thompson supports a meaningless amendment so he can say he's for protecting marriage while doing nothing about its redefinition in the states.
