  • thank you I SUBSCRIBED

  • haha i like how people think its wrong XD

  • @pancakelipgloss me too

  • Access to his following site for "être + Past Participle(PP) of the verb aller" (aller- passé composé):

    youtube.com/watch?v=IAXl1Hw4wyU

I can't copy and paste the URL here exactly as it is, probably due to a technical reason. But maybe you can somehow jump there.

  • I think the title "être - passé composé" is right. It's "avoir + été." The verb "être" takes the verb "avoir" in its passé composé.

If you look for "Je suis / Tu es...," look for the video named "être Indicatif Présent."

If you look for "êter + past participle (PP) of a verb," look for the video with the title " passé composé" featuring the verbs, such as aller, that take "être" in their "passé composé." It shows "être + PP of the verb."

  • you should make these into songs, I could memorize it easy then :)

  • That is in avoir not in etre

  • I've got a french test for tomorrow and I have to say that this have been really helpful!! Thank you so much, imagiers! merci beaucoup! (I hope I've written that the right way :P)

  • merci

  • Merci, c'est bien

  • meci

  • This is the Passé composé and not the present form. So remember that the verb "être" at the passé composé is conjugated with "avoir".

  • I'm french and i can say the teacher is right, there's nothing wrong in this video ;)

    Good luck guys ;)

  • Is this the the past of Je suis - J'ai ete?

    I am, I have been

  • Yes, it is.

  • Dear wh4ti5urpr0b, thanks for your message and your interest. Could you please tell from where you do assume that it is wrong ? I would be very interested to know why, to your point of view, many millions of French speaking persons are using the wrong form ? Thanks in advance for your message !!!!

  • thanks so much! I have a test about this tomorrow,

  • UM this is wrong. The etre part at the end is right but in the beginning its suppose to be:

    Je suis nous sommes

    tu es vous étres

    il a elles/ils sont

  • No I'm sorry to inform you that you are wrong about that, because it is not the "Present" form but the "Passé composé" form and you'll see that the verb "être" uses "avoir" for the "Passé composé".

  • thanks for this lecon,do you also have some videos on imparfait tense?

  • LOL ur so wrong

    jajaj

  • Bonjour, Je suis beau!!! ^^

  • THIS IS freakin AVOIRR!! passe compose not etre

etre is ... je suis, tu es, il est, elle est, nous sommes, vous etes, ils sont, elles sont....

  • THIS VIDEO MAKES ME WANNA CRY

  • they say "as", "avons", and "avez" incorrectly.

the "s and " z" on the ends are silent.

  • isn't it pronounced, since there is a liaison?

  • Yes.

  • Yes, that`s right ,but when the following verb or word starts with a vowel then you pronounce the "s" and the "z".

  • no it's well

  • Actually If The Next Word Begins With A Vowel Sound Then You Do Say It I Think. But That Was Avoir! With An Etre Past Participle? Isnt It Je suis..

    x

  • this is fuckin avoir!!

  • No, if it were avoir it would be: j'ai eu/tu as eu/il a eu etc. in passé composé.

  • but in etre it's je suis tu est blablabla

  • It's okay that I made a mistake, but he has a whole french learning site, so that's pretty bad. hahaha

  • nevermind, disregard the previous comment

  • No no, this is être.

    J'ai été = I have BEEN (to be==>être)

  • yes marajah ickballs... look him up on facebook for sure

  • do you even know french???? this is not even correct

    wow...

  • i really just need to go get some tylonol this freak gave me a headache

  • before posting any shit, why don't you check your verb first. This is not wrong.

It is passe compose du verbe etre. It is supppose to conjugate with the auxiliary of avoir which is j'ai... tu as..il a..... and so on. then have the past participle of ete. maybe you need to stay in the easier verbs

  • this video is fuckin gay we aren't two year olds

  • right? who is this person trying to kid?

  • i cannot believe you would even TRY to confuse me, i own you! FUCK this.

  • this is wrong!!!!!!!! i have a fucking quiz tomorrow and you are confusing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so, all the words for

    Mrs. Dr. vandertramp

go under this rule of verbs?

  • J'ai pris

    Tu as Pris

    Il/elle/on a pris

    Nous avons pris

    Vous avez pris

    Ils/Elles ont pris

    Right?

  • You're conjegating "prendre" right? If so then yes :)
