Approximately 80% of this album is unlistenable, this here tune is one of the worst offenders in the Iggy catalogue. Iggy has had loads of good tracks in the last 20 years (read: American Ceasar), but this "Avenue B" was Iggy crooning: "Oh yeah, I'm still pulling fit young puss; pathetic.
I like to blame this song for the current lame as shit decadence of Avenue B. Not fair, of course, but it is a terrible song. I just imagine Iggy ordering seconds at Back Forty at this point.
@thedeadcellist You obviously don't have a taste for anything unless it's Punk, so your opinion is moot cause you obviously don't know good music when you hear it. Avenue B is one of Iggy's best tunes and one of Iggy's favorite compositions.

I haven't listened to it. From Iggy in solo, I have Lust For Life (1977), Brick By Brick (1990), American Caesar (1993) and Avenue B (1999)
