@WhoresOfBabylon: It's not US presenters only. Dutch voice actors pronounce EVERYTHING with a (mispronounced) English accent, especially oriental words.

  • 0:36 I don't know who you are? Without a doubt, Microsoft Sam.

  • The pecking order is God, Moog, then Jan Hammer, then all the rest.

  • RUSHHHHHHHH

  • Who would have thought......a promoted video that's interesting and relevant to my interest.

  • In the begining God created the Synthpop

  • Moog? Spelled Moog but pronounce Mogue? Oddness.

  • @pabdc99 Yep that`s American presenters for you I`ve heard it on other posts too ! someone should ask them what sound a cow makes ? they will say `Moo`, then ask them to put a `g` on the end of that, problem solved, maybe. You should hear how US presenters pronounce well known French phrases too, it`s shockingly dumb ! ! heh heh

  • @WhoresOfBabylon I think that Moog Music, Inc knows how to correctly pronounce the name of their founder...

  • Great 'burns at 4:01, Dr. Moog!

  • @danceofthedruids I am jealous. Sure im 14, but that doesn't mean I cant have a moog. I may be getting an MG 1, though.

  • @Aidanloveskeyboards

The MG-1 was my first "Moog" synth, and I loved it ! You won't be disappointed, if you can find one that had the dreaded "foam of death" already removed.

  • Very nicely done video history! Own two Model D's and three Voyagers plus most of the pedals and a signed Theremin .... awesome stuff and addicting. Linda said they went with my suggestion for a chorus pedal ... they did it and its a monster pedal! Peace!

  • Great video regarding the great works of Mr. Moog and his excellent staff of engineers, but failed to include much about the person that really put these synths to the greatest use in live performance. Keith Emerson of course. The greatest keyboard player ever. Thank you, Mr. Emerson for everything. Kent from Iowa.

  • Synth. key board back in 1990 would have set me back 900 punts/Irish pounds.. I was googling over and playing one every time I passed through a particular town hitch-hiking.

I'd be a more renowned individual now if it was a little more affordable. Alas.

  • Solid
