  • The gate on my trailer lays down in the trailer without taking it off. Seems easier.

  • Yes, it is expanded metal. Yes, it catches a LOT of wind. With the ramp verticle, I can't run in overdrive because the transmission shifts down on most hills. With the ramp in the trailerbed, I can run the same hills in ovedrive with no downshift. Loaded, there is usually room to stand it up along the side so it don't catch wind.

  • Since a person can attach the ramp by himself, he can remove the ramp and put it in the trailer bed for highway travel, instead of having the ramp vertical where it catchs a lot of wind. Then he can reattach it when he gets to his destination. With the red 99 Dacota in the back of the picture pulling the pictured trailer, it saves me 2.3 gallons of gas in driving 65 mph for one hour on the highway. Thats about $1.00 for every 8 miles of travel.

Call Duane at 785-230-1153 for more info.
