Just to note, this application, does have a street view mode that will allow you to have your entire gps turn by turn in street view. You simply double tap the screen while in google navigation, and if a street view is available, it will show it. and it will show animation as if you are actually driving down that street, with a blue line overlayed above the street view, I am actually using this on a donut build on my xv6900 with verizon. just so everyone knows it can do street view navigation.

depends on where you are roaming. usually roaming is free with verizon. well atleast my roaming is free but not if i was in iraq then its international charging if u call to the states. atleast thats what i think.

on the home screen you can tap the search widget and say "Navigate to (Whatever)" and it'll do the turn by turn directions. It's quicker then doing it the way shown in the video.

you missed a coupe points here:

1. You can directly voice search from the home screen jus go "navigate to south coast plaza" and it starts wright away with the turn-by-turn directions.

2. It also provides you a street view of the point where you make your next turn 3. It pre-caches your route info. As you start and end your journey in a populated place with a signal you must do good.

who cares if you need clear view of sky and data- obviously if ur in ur car you have a clear view, and who is going to buy this phone without a data plan? Also, you don't have to waste space storing on the phone. And verizon has 5x the 3G coverage of at&t so you get way faster speeds in more places. Fun fact: Verizon's 3G network is bigger than AT&T's EDGE Network. Just so you know.

but the number of people living in verizon areas is only about 15% more then in ATT areas, not that many people live in the middle of utah!

Also verizon dose not deserve the term 3g as it goes 3.1 mbps.

ATT 3g can go up to 7.2 mbps, and edge up to 1Mbps

hence verizon '3g' is more comparable to edge (2.75G), and not GSM 3g.

THUS VERIzON HAS NO 3G NETWORK!!!
