  • Totally true...a recent tip that helped me: trying to maintain the connection between the left elbow and the right shoulder for as long as possible from the top of the downswing...

  • I would suggest that you learn as much as you can about the pivot, the need to be on top of the ball and how close you should be to the ball. The swing is the easy part. If you go to the download section of my site you will find the answer to your questions,

    Happy New Year.

  • This is exactly what I'm working on with my PGA instructor (holding face open slightly with right wrist angle retention). Can you discuss a little about your philosophy on working the ball and your thoughts about ball position in relation to draws/fades and high/low shots? Thanks.

  • You could prove yourself with a little physics lesson. Check out James Leitz D-Plane video. Your swinging the arms left and leaving the face "square" (an open feel) simply creates and effective CLUB PATH (movement of sweet spot) & Face Angle relationship that creates a D-PLANE sending the ball straight. This isnt rocket science. But I can assure you that there is MORE than one way to get there.

If you can prove why your way works with the physics, you'll have no valid arguments against it.

I did see the D-plane video, excellent, first class,I would highly recommend it.
