No, the two women don't have a "thing", the trailer made it look like it though. They were just friends. And its not really a big "war-love" story, it's more based on Vera's relationship with Catlian, whom she befriends with the utmost trust; and Dylan, her ex, who she still has heartbroken feelings for. It's really about the true story of Dylan Thomas, and how horrible he effected the people in his path.

Um... the two women have a thing? Interesting... I'm sad to say, even though I really, really want to see a movie about a black/latino/non-white same-sex relationship for once, this looks more exciting than the trailer for a black movie I just saw, which played on the well-worn marriage theme and made as little sense as this trailer... the "war... love" thing here was so cliche and predictable... still would like to see them both, though!
