My family came from Taos, moved to Southern Colorado. In Antonito area, the elk use to come and eat with our cows in the winter when I was a teenager, it was a beautiful sight. Sister Wolf what a great video
I was raised in Taos county (Cerro) New Mexico. I saw this beauty all the time! Not always in winter too. They would run right across our yard! Right behind them would be a caravan of Cerro hunters trying to take a shot at one on my parents property! My dad never let them do it though! LOL! I live in Roswell New Mexico now and miss Taos county very much! So thank you for the posting of this!!! ~Natalie Gallegos~
