Don't worry Dave. I've done my time in the finnish army as a ranger and I'm a big guy. There's a big difference between gunning&running and actual survival. The bad part about youtube is its lots of folks looking for their minutes of fame. You have an opinion and if its not theirs your whizzing in their post toasties. I have the same problem sometimes, its my opinions that get me turned away. If you have one your not a follower and thats not what they want. You need one good person to hold the rope, find that one and you have all you need. Speak softly and carry a stick the size of Texas that you use often and so quickly they dont see it coming.

All human beings have defects. It always amazes me how people with one particular defect always want to bad mouth those who just happen to have a different defect. It is just like racism. To me the worse defect that a person can have that is life threatening is the defect of looking down on others. What good is it to prep and survive the collapse if you aren't going to survive what comes after this life?
Actually the chunky folks (myself included) likely make the best preppers for the long term. We can burn fat from our "reserves" for energy while everybody else starves during the winter/lean times with their well toned bodies with their high metabolisms. At the end of the tough times. . we end up thin. . .they end up dead from starvation. Sounds like a fair balance of risks/benefits to me! Great vids as always. . .keep up the fight!! MDP

Pastor Dowell is not a Christian. He is a Hebrew Israelite--big difference. Hebrew Israelites do not follow any man made religion. Since Dave did not tell us the complete dialogue as to what lead Pastor Dowell to say what he said and Pastor Dowell has not spoken on this topic, it would be wise to give him the benefit of a doubt. After watching all of yours and all of Pastor Dowells videos over my time here on youtube it is clear that you two are of totally different mindsets. So your out there in a fairly rural area, you have your own assests as far as what the land offers and what you offer.

Dave, I'm not a prepper and I don't have anything put away for when SHtF, but you are always welcome at my house and anywhere I happen to be. I'm not a fanatic about religion, but I am a Christian (much like yourself) and I know that what you are saying is true. Judgment will be a double-edged sword: We will have to answer for what WE have done, but we will have the satisfaction of watching everyone else doing the same. (I like the "annoying clouds" thing at the end. :)

I'm a big woman, and I can't help but feel that there is a reason that so many are having a weight issue these days. Our bodies will survive off the fat in our bodies, that is a fact, so we may just make it a bit longer than the critics out there. It's not an excuse to be fat, just something that has hit my brain for a while now, and since being fat doesn't bother me at all, I figure it was a message for the confidence I have been praying for, for quite some time.
I feel sorry for people who think they will be flying away before persecution (as noted by other commenters). There is persecution even to this day in other countries for Christians. Why do people think that America is so great that God will come fly people away before it faces judgement. And why do people think God will snatch his witness during the most difficult time on this earth? Followers of Christ can survive during this period b/c of wisdom from God. @homeagent It's good to be prepared for anything. But for most of us, this idea of having some great gun battle with authorities isn't really realistic. if anyone wants to go down in a blaze of glory, the authorities can help. I just prefer to be as inconspicuous as a mushroom. I would like to avoid confrontation as much as possible. But , under the right circumstance, I would do what I had to do. It's hard to cover every scenerio.
Also.. If anyone has been ignorant enough to "tease" you about your weight, then that just shows their ignorant face. I know there are people who are TRULY concerned about your HEALTH and want to see you drop the weight and feel good!! THOSE are two separate types of people. It's not against the law to be an idiot, thankfully... On the other hand we all deal with them on a daily basis too... Set up your own group and set up your documents so the group can continue to exist. That would be something good to look at while your up there. A group of people whom you constructed and keep safe even after death.

@dsarti1 No, he doesn't. That's the problem. Dowell still tries to live under the mosiac law, we are free from the law and its works because of the cross, when Christ went to the cross, he set man free from the law, for the law was about "doing" and the cross is all about believing. People are prepping for something that for the most part is not coming. What is coming is the rapture of the church and 7 years of living hell. No amount of prepping will save you from the mark of the beast.
@dsarti1 we follow the law thru Christ and the cross. You do not keep sabbath, you do not work for your salvation, the apostle paul stated this, it is by FAITH that we are saved. Everything we do, everything we have is not because of the law, but because of the cross. When we place our faith in Christ, we fulfill the law/commandments. Dowell and others like him teach that we need another sacrifice, but its already been given. The cross is what set us free, not by works.
@dsarti1 When Christ spoke those words, the law was still full in effect, but when Christ went to the cross, the law was fulfilled. Paul's words were all inspired by Christ, for it was Paul who was given the revelation of the cross (grace), the jews were still trying to live by the commandments, Paul was given the gospel of the cross and many believed. You cannot obey the commandments or keep them outside the cross.
@dsarti1 you can only love because of what Christ did on the cross. The point is, the rapture of the church, 7 years of tribulation is what is coming. Prep all you want, but unless you can prep for the man of sin, no amount of prepping is going to save you from the man of sin.

@kastnmagic Greek and Hebrew are not dead languages. Greek never has been a dead language. And Hebrew was kept alive by both the Jews and biblical scholars through the ages until it became a living language again relatively recently.
Translation in itself doesn't invalidate the meaning contained in the original texts.

Don't worry Dave. I've done my time in the finnish army as a ranger and I'm a big guy. There's a big difference between gunning&running and actual survival. It's all about surviving the elements and using what you've got. I'd like to take these arm-chair commandos with me to the finnish winter for a couple of weeks. Let them have their guns and their spec-ops-whatever-crap. Once their batteries run out they're about as useful as a Pope's dick. I'll enjoy seeing these fools asking for our help.

The bad part about youtube is its lots of folks looking for their minutes of fame. You have an opinion and if its not theirs your whizzing in their post toasties. I have the same problem sometimes, its my opinions that get me turned away. If you have one your not a follower and thats not what they want. Actually the chunky folks (myself included) likely make the best preppers for the long term. We can burn fat from our "reserves" for energy while everybody else starves during the winter/lean times with their well toned bodies with their high metabolisms. At the end of the tough times. . we end up thin. . .they end up dead from starvation. Sounds like a fair balance of risks/benefits to me! Great vids as always. . .keep up the fight!! MDP

Since Dave did not tell us the complete dialogue as to what lead Pastor Dowell to say what he said and Pastor Dowell has not spoken on this topic, it would be wise to give him the benefit of a doubt. As one "in shape" person i enjoy the info you give out. I am also jealous of your knowledge and capability. I honestly think you will do well in a shtf scenario. I am in Canada. Dave, I'm not a prepper and I don't have anything put away for when SHtF, but you are always welcome at my house and anywhere I happen to be. I'm not a fanatic about religion, but I am a Christian (much like yourself) and I know that what you are saying is true. Judgment will be a double-edged sword: We will have to answer for what WE have done, but we will have the satisfaction of watching everyone else doing the same. (I like the "annoying clouds" thing at the end. :)

I'm a big woman, and I can't help but feel that there is a reason that so many are having a weight issue these days. Our bodies will survive off the fat in our bodies, that is a fact, so we may just make it a bit longer than the critics out there. It's not an excuse to be fat, just something that has hit my brain for a while now, and since being fat doesn't bother me at all, I figure it was a message for the confidence I have been praying for, for quite some time.

Does everyone think one day it ''hits'' and it's all aout gun fighting caos and we have to bug out or in run and gun,.. it's silly if ya ask me. @homeagent It's good to be prepared for anything. But for most of us, this idea of having some great gun battle with authorities isn't really realistic. if anyone wants to go down in a blaze of glory, the authorities can help. I just prefer to be as inconspicuous as a mushroom. I would like to avoid confrontation as much as possible. But , under the right circumstance, I would do what I had to do. It's hard to cover every scenerio.

I dont look down to you bud. You got knowledge and experiences that are useful. Forget the other groups as far as joining. Just keep em in mind when it comes time to trade.
Set up your own group and set up your documents so the group can continue to exist. That would be something good to look at while your up there. A group of people whom you constructed and keep safe even after death.

Dowell still tries to live under the mosiac law, we are free from the law and its works because of the cross, when Christ went to the cross, he set man free from the law, for the law was about "doing" and the cross is all about believing. People are prepping for something that for the most part is not coming. What is coming is the rapture of the church and 7 years of living hell. No amount of prepping will save you from the mark of the beast.

@dsarti1 we follow the law thru Christ and the cross. You do not keep sabbath, you do not work for your salvation, the apostle paul stated this, it is by FAITH that we are saved. Everything we do, everything we have is not because of the law, but because of the cross. When we place our faith in Christ, we fulfill the law/commandments. Dowell and others like him teach that we need another sacrifice, but its already been given. The cross is what set us free, not by works.

@dsarti1 When Christ spoke those words, the law was still full in effect, but when Christ went to the cross, the law was fulfilled. Paul's words were all inspired by Christ, for it was Paul who was given the revelation of the cross (grace), the jews were still trying to live by the commandments, Paul was given the gospel of the cross and many believed. You cannot obey the commandments or keep them outside the cross.

@kastnmagic Greek and Hebrew are not dead languages. Greek never has been a dead language. And Hebrew was kept alive by both the Jews and biblical scholars through the ages until it became a living language again relatively recently.
Translation in itself doesn't invalidate the meaning contained in the original texts.
And you may as well complain about Plato or Aristotle being primitive and obvious.

@dsarti OMG you made me laugh out loud literally when I saw the cloud talking! I'm still laughing. You posted a video some time back about people coming to live on your farm in SHTF. Strength in numbers if they brought compatible firearms and resources. Maybe an RV or structure to live in. Everyone live in a community if it got really bad. I think you should consider this more. Maybe even start interviews. If it never SHTF never happens then you have a lot more friends. Great networking plan.
