@NiKoL4o0o No it did not. Touch screen tablets have been out for years before. There has even been capcitive touch screens before the ipad. The consumer following that apple has simple brought the functionality (or lack there of) of tablets to the mainstream consumer market.

dose it run froyo because flash is all this needs to kill the ipad, its customizable to the nail, will be a ROM will it be a Launcher the best part it its a tablet meant for media and the internet will be the number one thing most people will use if for so with flash this thing is amazing and im sure things music will be good and the video will be gorgeous.

Would be really nice when they start making the apps native for this device. A few tweaks to improve say resolution and performance as Im sure it could do better. I would love one of these to pick up and put next to my iPad. Both devices look amazing and I have to say Im glad Samsung have come into the market with the galaxy series of device as they are beautiful much like most of samsungs kit.

Shamefully nothing beats Nova on iPhone 4 with the full Gyro controls... so fun :)

Well, yes it does. This video shows gaming right? Did you know that the iPad supports (for gaming) 28 million triangles per second? The Galaxy Tab supports 90 million triangles per second. Thats over three times better, mate. To put it bluntly, gaming on the iPad will be like playing on an Atari console compared to the Galaxy Tab.

@socceroos123 true, but so far there are essentially 0 games made specifically for the galaxy tab, and a LOT for the iPad... So until the exclusive tab games come out, iPad wins games.

While I would agree that there are more games for the iPad at the moment - to say that there are 'essentially 0' is misleading. Doing a cursory search on youtube shows plenty of 3d games on the Galaxy Tab. Specifically made for the Tab? Debatable. They're still 3D though. =)
