Just because you like something does not make it good - I (and most other people judging by the result) do not like to hear someone immitating a strangled cat.

Scooch are so Eurovision I'd almost think that they had been created for it - If they'd entered in the 70's oe 80's when the voting was genuine they'd have walked it - as it is it doesn't matter who we enter because all the voting is political these days.

I think the 'Political Voting' thing is becoming a bit of a lame excuse now. I agree there is some neighbourly voting and with televoting Turkey always score highly from Germany due to 6 million Turks in Germany. The fact is if we enter a good song we might just get a few points. Look at Jessaica Garlick in 2002, a good stong ballad and she came 3rd, and a lot of Eastern block countries voted for her. I'm not convinced that Mr Hawkins would have done any better than Scooch!
