  • I love the idea of the trunk, such a nice way to hide the batteries

  • Electric cycles are actually more environmentally friendly than pedal cycles because of the energy required to manufacture food

  • if the greenies really cared about the planet they'd all stop eating

  • @TimpBizkit sorry not trying to be mean but what has food got to do with wot u sed

  • @zohaib029 An electric bike means less food energy is required to pedal it - of course if you eat the same amount of energy anyway and just turn it into fat, you haven't really saved anything!

  • nice video! I clocked 56.9km/h on my currie 1000w and I think it can still go a little bit faster! It's so fun hey?!

  • good job on that clean install, man. I'm in the wait for my crystalyte to arrive - just looking online for ideas. Where'd you get that eBike trunk? eBay?

  • The trunk came with one of those chinese scooter style ebikes,i had taken it off that one before i sold it so it was just laying around.

Pretty sure you can buy them separately from Daymak if you wanted one

  • my apologies Ronin. those videos are sweet. I have to get in contact with Crystalyte. I want a setup like that. thanks for the all the info. and good riding.

  • what, no test ride? poorly rated.

  • Look to the right at the related videos

One video was description, the other was the ride.

  • pump up the amps if you want to have the torque to get there.

My modified controller is capable of 50 amps.

Of course drawing that from SLA's will kill them quickly, that was just a balls out test for top speed and not the normal amperage i use.

I run 30 amps and hit about 47kmh

  • i understand the spinning factor but how do the electronics hold up. Do you have any shorts or does it everstop working?

  • Got water in the hall connector a couple times(connector that comes out of the motor),That made it chug and not want to go.Wrapped it with a black balloon and a couple zip straps and never had another problem

  • What is it like in the rain

  • the front wheel tends to spin taking off when it's wet

  • You need some disc brakes for better stopping power, especially motors that exceed 20mph.

  • Very nice looking bike. I like the trunk and clean installation. Jon J
