To me, I like the game only for a few reasons: The theatricality, the gameplay and the mission variety. The Assassins look kinda weird in the Renaissance era. In the Crusaders' era, the scholars wear white clothes and a hood (resembling the Assassins and resembles Altair more than Ezio). You don't find anyone like them in AC2 to blend in with. If these features in AC2 were in AC1, then AC1 would be better than all others! P.S. I prefer sword fighting than using modern guns like in AC2 and ACB.

how to get a weapon free: find a brute and get in a fight with him using either your normal weapon or small weapon. wait until he does a special move capable of hitting the weapon right out of your hand. finish him off and any other guards in the fight. pick up another weapon from a dead guard and ezio will keep it as his own! warning: you will not be able to keep an axe, brute sword, helberd or spear.

Sorta. The synch healing does happen in the game, but its not as effective as it is in AC1. In AC1 you could go from dying to fine with a few moves- now it'll only heal you to a certain extent. You can carry medicine on you to heal yourself though, which is helpful. In addition to that, you can buy stuff now- it's nice. :D

I play it on a 40gb PS3 (one of the first) on 1080i and have constant frame rate, check to see if your disk is clean or is there any dust/ hair etc in the PS3. Aside from that no clue.

Wtf is anyone else having this problem? Im in sequence 10 half way thru.... im almost finished with the game.... I tihnk just 3 more sequences after this one..... and for some reason I keep freezing up whenever i go into combat (specifically doubel assassinations or back to back assasinations) Its never been frozen up until now... i played at least 12 hours into it already but doesnt freeze until now..... its frozen up at least 6 times already

the creators said there will definitely be an assassin's creed 3 before they'd finished creating the first game! It'll either be set in modern day or the future & apparently the player will have an energy blade, not sure how it'd work but it's definitely supposed to "glow" when the player unsheathes it.

Yes and no, AC1 was simple and I didn't even know there was a problem with it untill fussy reviewers starting talking rubbish. There was side missions, flags etc... to collect if you wanted variety but aside from that you got what was on the tin.

Now look at Assassins Creed 2, 80% of game time if going for everything is spent on side missions. Also the economy system is broken, upgrade your villa and your sorted for the game entire game.

actually lego giovanni didn't have the gun. Ezio got the codex page containing the blue prints for the gun and had da vinci build it for him. and the scene is like azirtiro said its just a trailer its not actually in the game
