I do hate to be a critic sometimes, but it does lack one thing as a final boss theme (especially a Final Fantasy boss): it doesn't have a really, really intense and fast portion. Still, this is really freaking great, I can totally see this as a boss's 'Phase 1' theme.

Although no humans appear in this series, based on the previous generations of MLP, ponies are roughly the same size as a person, or if anything a little bigger. They were just the right size for a little girl to ride (naturally) and, judging by their size, probably weighed at least 300 pounds. A pony standing on her hind legs (like Octavia does) would actually be taller than most people.

Besides, it's basically been confirmed for sure that she was playing what was supposed to be a cello. The animator that worked on a scene with her in Season 2, Episode 9 labeled her as a cellist in the quartet while (s)he drew the scene.

Here's my take on Octavia in an RPG:

Even though Octavia is not a unicorn, the music she produces is nothing short of magical. She can lull enemies to sleep with a lullaby, charm their mind with a truly beautiful melody, or provoke intense fear with an intimidating tune or even iuntense pain with a few purposefully dissonant accords.

She can also boost allies' will and strength with an epic hymn, allowing them to fight on through even the gravest wounds.

@Archimonde259 Compared to Octavia, Vinyl Scratch/DJ P0N-3 would be more offense-based. As a unicorn, Vinyl Scratch manipulates soundwaves. Through unicorn magic, a microphone and a few very large speakers, Vinyl can blast litterally brutal beats that can leave her enemies dazed and stunned, or pulverize them outright together with the ground they stand on. Vinyl too can buff allies with her party beats, but she lacks the versatility of Octavia, being more damage-oriented.

When i hear this music, i dont imagine Octavia actually fighting but rather the Mane Six fighting off a terrifying red demon covered in black mist that uses a cello for battle. Its musical notes are used to cast false illusions of itself and basically makes clones and warps itself around, sometimes using a soundwave attack to do damage. Its also taking place in the royal canterlot theature.
