it's awesome that a gun that firing 1000rpm can kill me in 2 bullets from 100yds away,not OP at even.it's even better when people walk around with steady aim hip firing it,beating shotguns up close.this is one gun i won't use out of principle.

I don't understand why everyone thinks the famas in Black Ops is so super OP. It's an assault rifle with an above-average fire rate. The fire rate is balanced by how it runs out of ammo fast and a considerable amount of recoil that makes it difficult to hit enemies at long range. Personally, I don't even think the famas is very good compared to the other assault rifles. I think it's just because it's overused and people get killed by it so often that they feel it's OP.
@IAmDEFT When Black ops came out the FAMAS had i high fire rate, and veru-low recoil. If your talking about the FAMAS after the patch, its not overpowered but before it was REALLLY overpowered.
@crazyhand97 i went on earlier today and the MP9 akimbo has ridiculously slow, but i see what you mean if you take out akimbo machine pistols it will balance the game alot more but lets hope it doesn't end up like black ops every gun being a clone of the other.
The Typ95 is a ugly chinese Weapon and the Famas is just awsome, (not in CoD parts, cod makes the famas to a noob weapon, but in real its pretty cool)
They shouldn't have done anything to this gun, It's a powerful burst fire weapon but it's not invincible. I mean it already has a disadvantage because it cannot shoot automatic so of course it's going to have high damage. If u really want to counteract it use the ACR which is just as accurate and is automatic or a sniper rifle. Moaning about it being overpowered doesn't help at all

I do better with the mk14 and it unreliable could be my connection but sometimes it i get 4 hit markers it happened after the first patch. Fmg9 akimbo need to get patched by taking the attachement away they r better at close range compared to a shot gun.; if ur a recon jug and a guy with fmg9 akimbo comes running at u ur r dead.

IW did nearly the same as black ops, make the guns kill in three bullets up close (except the Type95). i h8 infinity ward for not making the ak-47 kill in 2 bullets. if the ak will kill in the same amount of bullets as the g36c, acr, m416, and nearly every other gun at point blank, why use it? every high dmg gun needs a buff at close range. there should be slow firing low accuracy power house guns. not clones throughout.

Most of the people you see in this game, you'll play once or twice, the lobby will split, and you'll never see them again. yeah,keep tellin' yourself that...just today i picked up a pp90 cause i ran out of ammo and i almost got a moab(well..no..it was 18 gun kills)but still...nothing stands a chance against that thing.i was going trough opponents like they were made out of butter..that kind of fire rate shouldnt be on a gun that deals that much damage and has so little recoil(try using another smg for a week and you'll see how you'll start loosing cqc head to head battles)
@TheChainsOFMisery let me see the MP5, UMP45 do more damage, the MP7 has almost no recoil, P90 has a bigger mag and does a little more damage with less recoil, and the PM-9 has the second fastest fire rate to the FMG 9, now i can out gun the PP90 with the UMP45 and MP5 if they have rapid fire, spray and pray for longer with the P90, out gun it from long range with the MP7, and the PM-9 in a straight fire fight with it will beat it so NO i dont think its op, it is an all around good gun

I, honestly, have no idea why people get so pissed off about this weapon. In my opinion, it isn't overpowered. I've used this weapon and it didn't do jack shit for me, except make me die xD (Although, this could simply be the fact that I hate burst-fire weapons, as I'm not good with them. I'm a run-n'-gunner, and I honestly think this weapon is better suited towards the more defensive style of play.)

i don't think the type95 is OP. I do think that the type95 and ACR 6.8 are the easiest guns to use in the game. so don't brag how beast you are when you use these guns because if your not good with these guns than your garbage and should find another game to play
@realogre32 It's all based on preference dude. I'm serious, I do better with the M4A1 then the ACR. Main reason I don't like the ACR is because of the low fire rate. I'd pick up the FAD before I touch an ACR to be honest with you.

The odd thing is, on the PC version of the game, this gun is very rare! I play mostly TDM and KC and i see a Type 95 maybe once every five matches. I think it's the full manual aim, that actually balances this gun.
I used the 74u then it was demaned op and I stopped. Then the Famas was demmed op so I stopped using it it. Then the akimbo fmg9/tp5 class was found... Meh screw it everyone else has access to it and I'm going to use it. Honestly why WOULDNT I use the best :?

anyone who does not have the famas as their #1 on the "killed by" in black ops is lying, it's painful to see people with 14 and 15 prestige with a golden famas, no skill at all

I'm surprised you didn't discuss the Kick Proficiency in terms of why it isn't that useful. In theory it should be great. Lower recoil means more bullets on target. Which means more one burst kills. Of course this isn't the case in practice.
This guns good but i would rather use my gold acr.Also the mk14 which is semi auto also has the rapid fire attachment to. Also great videos you are one of my favorite reviewers.

when mw3 was in development people wanted the better guns near the end and not at the begging if u look at the snipers the rsass is better then the dragunov the msr is better then the l118a for assult rifles the type 95 is the upgraded m16 the acr the scar L the fad the m4 the ak47 the cm901 the lmg's just get better the m60e4 is a monster and the l86 is not that great and i think that is how it suppose to be and the type95 should be 45 - 30 and the m16 40-25 since u get the m16 1st
@The4321kp Indeed, but this is not so for the sniper rifles. Yes the MSR beats the L118 and the RSASS definitely beats the Dragunov. Oddly enough, the Barrett 50 Cal. beats the AS50 even though the latter is unlocked LATER in the prestige while the Barrett is with you from the begining. Since the Barrett 50 Cal. is the better semi-auto, high power sniper rifle, it's the best sniper rifle overall (despite the very early unlock).
@Antomicxgames that was just 1 oddball same with the smg's p90 beatsmp5 mp7 beats ump45 pp90m1 beats pm9 i think they tried to make the pm9 better than the pp90 by making the pm9 have a faster rpm but it didnt work i think same with the as50 since it has a lower zoom there is less recoil and the maps r smaller so the less zoom is good but u could argue that its a sniper and is 4 long range and a shorter zoom could hamper it but the majority of the guns get better
@The4321kp I'm not saying the the later weapons suck. I'm just saying the the Barrett 50 Cal. is the best sniper rifle despite the early unlock. If you like the AS50 or some other sniper rifle, good for you. But given the option, I'll always take the Barrett 50 Cal. As far as the zoom thing, just give the Barrett an Acog sight and extended mags (using the two attachements proficiency). This way, you get everything you can from the Barrett 50 Cal.
Amish, I don't think the type 95 is that big a problem. I've only come across it a few times while playing TDM. Honestly, I think the PP90M1 is the problem. I see it 1 out of every 3 matches I play, and I personally think it's overpowered. Nothing annoys me more in MW3 then getting killed by the PP90M1 when I'm using a Striker or Model 1887 in close quarters.

Most of the people you see in this game, you'll play once or twice, the lobby will split, and you'll never see them again. You might earn a couple seconds of respect, or hate, but it's not going to last particularly long either way. I don't rate CoD "respect" very highly, I'd rather earn it in the real world.

yeah,keep tellin' yourself that...just today i picked up a pp90 cause i ran out of ammo and i almost got a moab(well..no..it was 18 gun kills)but still...nothing stands a chance against that thing.i was going trough opponents like they were made out of butter..that kind of fire rate shouldnt be on a gun that deals that much damage and has so little recoil(try using another smg for a week and you'll see how you'll start loosing cqc head to head battles)

@TheChainsOFMisery let me see the MP5, UMP45 do more damage, the MP7 has almost no recoil, P90 has a bigger mag and does a little more damage with less recoil, and the PM-9 has the second fastest fire rate to the FMG 9, now i can out gun the PP90 with the UMP45 and MP5 if they have rapid fire, spray and pray for longer with the P90, out gun it from long range with the MP7, and the PM-9 in a straight fire fight with it will beat it so NO i dont think its op, it is an all around good gun

I, honestly, have no idea why people get so pissed off about this weapon. In my opinion, it isn't overpowered. I've used this weapon and it didn't do jack shit for me, except make me die xD (Although, this could simply be the fact that I hate burst-fire weapons, as I'm not good with them. I'm a run-n'-gunner, and I honestly think this weapon is better suited towards the more defensive style of play.)

Plus, the raise time is a little too sluggish for my taste (very important to run n' gunners) But I kinda disagree with your solution. if the AK and CM901 are 2-hit-kills, everyone will start using THEM, then we'll have two more overpowered weapons instead of one

The odd thing is, on the PC version of the game, this gun is very rare! I play mostly TDM and KC and i see a Type 95 maybe once every five matches. I think it's the full manual aim, that actually balances this gun.

I'm surprised you didn't discuss the Kick Proficiency in terms of why it isn't that useful. In theory it should be great. Lower recoil means more bullets on target. Which means more one burst kills. Of course this isn't the case in practice.

when mw3 was in development people wanted the better guns near the end and not at the begging if u look at the snipers the rsass is better then the dragunov the msr is better then the l118a for assult rifles the type 95 is the upgraded m16 the acr the scar L the fad the m4 the ak47 the cm901 the lmg's just get better the m60e4 is a monster and the l86 is not that great and i think that is how it suppose to be and the type95 should be 45 - 30 and the m16 40-25 since u get the m16 1st

@The4321kp Indeed, but this is not so for the sniper rifles. Yes the MSR beats the L118 and the RSASS definitely beats the Dragunov. Oddly enough, the Barrett 50 Cal. beats the AS50 even though the latter is unlocked LATER in the prestige while the Barrett is with you from the begining. Since the Barrett 50 Cal. is the better semi-auto, high power sniper rifle, it's the best sniper rifle overall (despite the very early unlock).

@Antomicxgames that was just 1 oddball same with the smg's p90 beatsmp5 mp7 beats ump45 pp90m1 beats pm9 i think they tried to make the pm9 better than the pp90 by making the pm9 have a faster rpm but it didnt work i think same with the as50 since it has a lower zoom there is less recoil and the maps r smaller so the less zoom is good but u could argue that its a sniper and is 4 long range and a shorter zoom could hamper it but the majority of the guns get better

@The4321kp I'm not saying the the later weapons suck. I'm just saying the the Barrett 50 Cal. is the best sniper rifle despite the early unlock. If you like the AS50 or some other sniper rifle, good for you. But given the option, I'll always take the Barrett 50 Cal. As far as the zoom thing, just give the Barrett an Acog sight and extended mags (using the two attachements proficiency). This way, you get everything you can from the Barrett 50 Cal.

Amish, I don't think the type 95 is that big a problem. I've only come across it a few times while playing TDM. Honestly, I think the PP90M1 is the problem. I see it 1 out of every 3 matches I play, and I personally think it's overpowered. Nothing annoys me more in MW3 then getting killed by the PP90M1 when I'm using a Striker or Model 1887 in close quarters.
