the metro is world calss but the crowd is no where near it . people are absolutely careless and pathetic at times in the metro , sad it is even if we develop we cant develop the minds of the people

i went to london last month...and believe me...london tube stands nowhere in front of the delhi metro...but jus the difference in the crowd...else delhi metro is superb

Im Happy that We have a World class Metro Train in Delhi but lets just be happy with what We've got

No, it is under construction and will be ready by 2010 commonwealth games. You can go ahead and try the metro in Cannaught Place its too good. M proud to be in India.

It looks very similar to Hong Kong's MTR (Mass Transit Railway). But MTR is far more advanced... search "MTR" in youtube for clips or wikipedia . com for detailed information..

loss per pasanger rs 35000 per yr more than daily earning per indian (pc gdp) of rs 28500

kolkata metro carries only 10% capacity

mumbai rail carries 2.5 times capacity or

super dense crush load but people do not get any ammenities even after being the largest taxpayer to the nation
