A lot of this stuff (NOT ALL, but a LOT) I would categorize as death metal, or even slam death (as much as I hate subgenres within subgenres). Grindcore, to me, is bands like Assuck, older Napalm, Insect Warfare, Discordance Axis, etc.

@metalmaker93 Napalm Death told me that... well the fact that they were an all out punk band in 1983 told me that. And that Scum was released in 1987, and the Hatred Surge demo was released in 1985. Both before Scream Bloody Gore and around the same time as Possessed and Slayer's stuff. Don't forget Repulsion too. Basically Grind came before Death Metal and the first bands started as punk bands.

Slipknot puts out 1 good song out of every 15 though LOL as in seriously they do, their that crappy now, mainstream cock suckers. i want the old slipknot back. nu-metal was the first genre of metal i listened to, Rage against the machines got me hooked, then i went from that to deathmetal and then to black.
