  • how did you remove the banners?

  • how do u take the flags of the regiments of???

  • Alexander Nevsky> EVERYTHING!!!

  • the vid is awsome. historicly correct and all...except for one detail:

wtf happened to the cavalry charge? each knight must have weighted at least 7 or 8 times more that any of the lithuanian soldiers, especialy light infantry...if the powerfull charge skill was still present on kingdoms, the battle outcome would have been ALOT diferent here...wonder if they forgot to put it...

still, you get a 5 here. its not your fault.

  • Thanks, and yeah - the cavalry charge against spearmen seems rather underpowered in the game. That's where mods like Stainless Steel come in : )

  • europa barbarorum fixes this too, EB rules!

the cavalry charges are great and all the units are historicly correct.

  • @observercorps internetwars.ru/Medieval-II/Rusichi/Rusichi.html

  • horses just won't charge into a spear wall, no matter how much you train them. try training a horse to run into the side of your house.

  • @Baexire Man... i never thaught about that... probably, you are right.

  • @Baexire Man... i never taught about that... probably, you are right.

  • I don't think this is Kingdoms. Likely the normal, unexpanded version. If it was the Teutonic expansion I would expect Ritterbrudders as a (in apperance at least) more accurate unit to use as imposed to German Imperial Knights.

The Russian soildiers in the Teutonic expansion are also yellow, not blue and red (Which I think is the Russian colors in the original)...

  • The knight should have a wedge formation which penetrated line of defence.

  • Well done!

  • Bravo observercorps! Everyting is very impressive and historicly correct. Prokofiev's music is amazing.

  • It's a shame we don't get to see the frozen lake swallow your Teutons, but the game has it limits. Excellent video!

  • Thanks, and I agree - maybe some future version of Total War, eh?

  • Then obviously that would qualify me as completely wrong. perhaps I am just used to always being careful with my Teutons. Though I think they normally do better than that. Med. II gives in general more credit to cavalry than that.

  • I wouldn't say you were wrong - like you said, a lot depends on certain conditions. And I'm sure you use your Teutons much, much better than the computer.

  • That charge by the kngihts was worthless something there was totally screwed up it didn't even knock back the first line of ifantry. Those Teutons must have been the bare minimum.

  • I think I actually boosted armor for both sides. But then again, Medieval II's game engine has always boosted spearmen (too much) against cavalry.

  • I hate that...cavalry are only helpful against archers and flank charges. they stink at fighting since they are usually outnumbered vs inf

  • well u might wanna try CHARGING ... true! they aren't great in hand to hand, but then again, that's why they have the huuuge charge bonuses. I won battles against 700 -800 hundred men just by using 2 or 3 units of cavalry.

  • good graphics mate!.....

    what pc are you using..?

  • Thanks, just using an HP Pavilion dv8000

  • Hey that Nevsky guy is pretty good. Let's name a street after him.

  • Patrick there are already tens of streets, monuments and churches named after him, actually this guy is a christian saint, Saint duke Alexander Nevsky
