  • This is why I enjoy watching the "strokers" in Asia way more than watching the PBA Tour. I wholeheartedly agree with @rotogrip138 - The technology went into the bowling ball, in order to boost interest by allowing even average bowlers to have a bigger pocket. I even hear it in the voice of Randy Pederson when he covered the Japan Cup - the strokers still do well even on PBA conditions. I also was surprised at how "quiet" the ambience was - no cheering for a 300 game?

  • First, congrats on the 300. But honestly, how big was the pocket? 4th frame flush strike was at least 5-7 boards inside the 8th frame flush strike. 7 boards!! And they both are flush pocket strikes!! It's too bad that bowling went from a game of skill and accuracy to a game of move left, throw it right, and get a lot of turn. Gee, I wonder why everyone is 200+ now?
