@alohachiq she's still filipina kahit nag eenglish xa. dapat she has to speak english kasi she's no longer a filipina for the philippines, she's a filipina for the world. and the best way para marepresent nya ang bansa natin is to say good things about our country in the language of the world. besides, when ur a world theater actress puro english speaking ang nakakasalamuha mo. you become absorbed in the language. given that 'liability' if u may, she still makes d filipinos proud

filipinos was a colony of Spain centuries ago. filipinos are also mixed, some with chinese, malays, spanish. so a lot of filipinos are spanish looking. Some filipinos even look more of chinese depends on the percentage of the mix. But eventhough there are mixes, we still call ourselves, Filipino.

Lea Salonga also won the Tony Awards for her role as Kim in Miss Saigon when she was 18. She has starred in a lot of theater plays. She was Annie when she was a kid, she started as a resident actor for Repertory Philippines.
