These two always amaze me - at how they are completely tuned into human nature and dialogue and how they can make even the most bizarre scenes humanly potent (like when George Clooney and co are acting like gofers or chickens in Oh Brother). genuinely intelligent individuals, i'm jealous knowing i'll probably never be able to even direct a film, and even if i did i would always in my own mind be in their shadow simply because their movies to me are something i think every movie should be like and i could never achieve what they have in their craft, they are writing a story for george clooney to direct which will be interesting to me to see what a different director does with their material to really be able to grasph their greatness
