  • Absolutely stunning video...

  • Another backyard favorite.....

  • Nice video. A beautiful bird and a beautiful song.

  • complimenti i video sono bellissimi tante grazie

  • Ya gotta love the way birds hold their heads to the sky and sing. Also I have seen these at the feeders at my house and they are also friendly, not scaring as easily as other birds!

  • such a lovely song... nature is as wonderful as my mom!

  • Can't get a picture to come up with the share. Bummer!

  • YeP. the nicest thing i've ever seen on youtube!

  • northernvermont's finest moment

  • Their other song is nice to.

  • Listening to this beautiful and vibrant bird reminds me of the precious quality of all life, and how it benefits all beings to hear this song of joy ... thank you

  • Killooleet

  • This bird is such a sweet little sparrow prince!!

  • Osaapa yksinkertainen säe olla kaunis!

  • you mean, "CHEESE CHEESE BURGADUR BURGGGGADURRR"

  • Thank you so very much for posting this! I can show my children what the beautiful bird looks like that we are hearing. The sparrows are here in the Low Country during winter and is such a delight to hear.

  • I'm amazed at your video of the white-throated sparrow. I'm from Quebec and this bird's song is a symbol of my child hood walking through the forest. Thanks for sharing this really beautiful song on YT!

  • I hear this all the time when I go hiking in the Adirondacks! I nicknamed it Pavarotti b/c I never knew it's name and it always seemed to belt out a really long note like an opera singer.

  • WOW, what a song! And such a beautiful little bird.

  • @Youkickmydog1988 yeah whatever it is, it just IS.. and we're so lucky to have this chance... seeing people waste their lives, loaf around... jeezz, it's too bad they don't teach 'life appreciation' in school.

  • Удивительные съемки.Благодарю Вам.

  • What a little beauty. Thankyou

  • I love hearing those when I went to the Boundary Waters. The first time I heard them I thought they were a chickadee.

  • great video and production thanks

  • Reminds me of waking up early while camping as a child. Love these little guys.

  • The bird i am trying to identify has a similar call, but the tones are reversed. it sounds exactly like this-but the first two notes are low, and then the third is high and long-followed by 9 notes at the same pitch as the third one. (daa-daa deeeeeee dee-dee-dee dee-dee-dee dee-dee-dee...) Does anyone know what it is? It is in deer isle, ME. around a spruce/evergrren forest.

  • The one outside our house sounds like an alarm.

  • These little guys sing outside my window all the time. I've loved them since I was a kid. There's something about their song that just puts me completely at ease. I remember walking to a friend's house, who lived quite far, when I was around 9 years old, and I was nervous to be walking there alone until I heard this song coming from the trees. Beautiful video.

  • "My" w-t sparrows sing only "My Sweet" without "Canada". I live close to Toronto Ont.

  • @trzcinarowice we have those in michigan... they do the 3 notes and it ends there... i prefer that song over this one.... where can i find that on youtube!

  • @wutyify It is bound to be somwhere on youtube (sooner or later).

  • Such a gorgeous sweet little bird!! I can't believe a sparrow possesses this beautiful song!! I thought it was a goldfinch or something!!

  • My cat loved it! :)

  • Love their song, great shots.

  • This is beautiful! White-throated sparrows are my favorite!

  • I heard 2 of these little guys by my house the other day, never heard one til then!

  • Thank you so very much for posting this, I been trying to find out what bird sang this song since i was 11, 26 years and the internet is all it took to find it. I asked many people and no one knew! ty so very much !!!!

  • @cardarinc I have had the same "problem" for a number of years now too. I could always hear them, but could never see the bird that was making this song. Some people even went as far to say that it was a person whistling the tune, because it's the kind that could somewhat easily be mimicked by humans, but I knew better. People just don't sit in trees whistling the same tune over and over...... ;)

  • Loved this,,thankyou..

    *smiles*..

  • Such Crystal Clear Clarity In Every Aspect.

  • This is my favorite song birds love the white - throat sparrow one of the best song birds

    great video.

    Happy birding.

  • i hear this beautiful song many, many mornings outside my bedroom window. i had no idea it was a white-throated sparrow until recently! this is a lovely video... congratulations and thanks! PS: im in northcentral ohio

  • Absolutely amazing and incredible!

When I was in Algonquin park, ON, I was wondering which bird is it

that sings this beautiful song... Finally I found out. :-)

  • This is amazing! We hear these little guys all summer long at our cottage in the Land O Lakes area of Ontario, Canada. It's the very sound that reminds of the summer and being on the lake

  • Well done! I have two who regularly visit my feeder but I have yet to hear their voices.

  • Very professional done. Wonderful song.

  • precioso+precioso+preciosisimo

  • This is really excellent footage! Maybe this is early in the breeding season? This guy seems to be missing the last "Canada" of his song... perhaps just being efficient.

  • Great work. And how do you get so close?

  • Hard to put adequate words to this video: beautiful and astonishing. Thank you for posting it!!!

  • amazing video :D

  • When I first heard this song in my yard, I called the local arboretum and spoke to one of the naturalists. After I whistled the melody, he knew right away what bird I was hearing. It's neat to see this footage since I rarely see the sparrows.

  • Beautiful!! The white throated sparrow is a lot more attractive that its name suggests. I wish we had these little beauties in the UK

  • Thank you so much for bringing this darling little bird so vividly into my living room!

  • Wonderful - thankyou so much for these wonderful videos.

  • Wow, I've finally found out who this bird song belongs to! My whole life I have loved this song, my grandfather told me this bird was his favourite his whole life too and he called the bird a "Tom Tiddly". I always knew that spring was officially here when I heard this bird song. None of my bird-watcher friends have ever been able to tell me what he's really called... I thank you so much for this wonderful video, reminds me so much of my beloved Grampie!

  • Phenomenal clarity both video and audio. Thanks!

  • Man, that's clear video

  • Sounds like home! Thanks for posting, I never knew what these birds were called before :)

  • Beautiful... just beautiful!

  • This is one of my favorite birds to listen to while I'm out in the woods.

  • Thank you so very much, this is exquisite.
