Dr. Mario was easily one of the worst characters ever. He had no differences with Mario at all.

But back to the situation at hand, MOST of those characters were clones because their attacks actually matched with who they copied.

You can't say that about Mario and Paper Mario. Does Mario have a hammer? Does Paper Mario shoot fireballs or have a cape? What about how they jump or Mario's final smash? Paper Mario might be based off Mario, but they're far from the same.

well, ice climbers technically are both clones of themselves, the only identical moves marth and ike have are the counter, and there average b charge up, and even those are different. and diddykong and donkey kong dont look the same, theyre just related, but thier movesets are entirely different. and we arent arguing about him getting into the next smashbros (which i dont think is going to be made), we were arguing about how hed be a clone if he were ever in smashbros

yeah, but thats just because ness was the main character of earthbound, so he had his fair share and was brought in as the only character from earthbound to represent the series, just like all the others at first. they wanted to have him use more than just psi rockin' since psi is the main key of earthbound, so they gave him the other main psi moves (psi fire, psi thunder, etc).

besides, what else would ness' moveset be without other psi? all he has is stat changers, 1 attack, and psi lifeup

Thoreau is the first partner in Super Paper Mario (or second, if you count Tippi). You can use him to grab blocks or bad guys and hold them over your head. It would work pretty well as a grab attack.

Well, Eldstar came from Paper Mario, but with the sticker, the picture on the sticker is from Mario Party 5. That's what they mean. They have a Crazy Dayzee too and they say it's from Yoshi's Touch and Go or something. I'm not very sure.

Awkward? I never said that. Notice that my reasons for saying that miis would be bad is because they look like crap. They don't need to look like crap. Paper Mario needs to look wierd, because that's what the game is about.

Plus, Paper Mario games are good.

As you can see, he has a bunch of good moves, but miis, well they can give them wii sports moves, but they may as well stick in Waluigi too. If they gave them choosable moves, it would just be too much trouble and some people won't like it.

Nah. You'd know about SuperNova if you played the Thousand-Year door. You tap the A button constantly and it kills all the enemies with 15's. It's the strongest super attack in the second game, while the spin doesn't even do anything except confuse enemies if you have a certain badge. It isn't even in the second game unless you have a certain badge, and only in battle.
