Well,I think we can say: Machine Kaput! I liked the comment about: "after full inspection, we found no damage to the Airframe, Engine, or Prop". Was the engine dissassembled - for internal changes? If so, I would agree; if not - not so good. All of this could have been avoided by the pilot not "hot dogging" in front of the crowd .
I don't even understand what or how he was trying to "show off". That was just dumb lol. Everyone knows to keep the stick back when you taxi a tailwheel. Well, almost everyone i guess...

Gee everyone seems to know everything about everything. Personally I think the guy is just plane stupid. I dont care about airflow and BS and all of that. Fly the airplane and dont be stupid with it. Know what you are doing before you do it. Jeeeesh people.
That was 4 seconds a pilot would like to do over. One prop and one engine overhaul, since you have to take it apart for inspection anyway. I feel for the guy. The worst part is everyone is watching. I just feel bad about it. I bet it cost him $15K.
that was by far the most expensive act in the whole air show! The sad part is the audience doesn't appreciate how much money this guy just kissed goodbye. (and it wasn't very exciting)
It's hard to believe he did that on purpose (up until the prop strike) Showing off in an airplane isn't needed, It's already awesome enough!
Wouldn't he need that propeller to fly again next time he wants to? That seems like a waste but i guess if he's going to change propellers that's a funner way to take the old one off. Hahaha thanks.
Right on about the power but what really got this pilot is when it started to go over on the nose he instinctively pulled back on the stick. With a tailwind this will put a light perfectly balanced cub right on its back. I forgot to mention applying brakes is usually the other instinctive move which just puts icing on the cake. I have flown Cubs all my life and contrary to current teaching methods there is no reason to ever pull the stick back on the ground except to take-off.
If you listen carefully, you can hear where he messes up. When he starts to nose over, he pulls power. The proper thing to do is add power and get more airflow over the elevator so you can force the tail back down. It seems counter intuitive, but it works.
Sorry to see that. No matter who you are, you are not immune to an embarrasing problem that may happen. I have seen proof on the shoes of the most dignified !
Seems to be a tail wind, the turboprop is taxiing downwind, he did pull the stick back, but either got stuck in some ruts or tapped the brakes if he has them. I wonder what he did to get home. I wouldn't trust the motor mount, prob hub , prop bolts, or crankshaft .
The prop is destroyed and the engine will need to be completely disassembled, inspected and reassembled with serviceable parts. That is protocol for any prop strike. Doubly frustrating is that A-65 Continental engines and parts aren't as common anymore.
Embarassing as hell, right in front of a crowd. At first I thought it might have been intentional (trying to put on a good show, WHICH HE DID, LIKE IT OR NOT), but the show is up in the air, not on the ground. LOLOL! But it's a mistake any pilot could make.
depends on how you are trying to taxi. he was trying to keep the tail off the ground, it's a legitimate method but it takes experience, more than this guy had. embarrassing.

@jtkent28 you can see that the pilot gave it nose down elevator + brakes to try high tail taxi... but that was a bit to difficult...

well..at least the prop touch soft grass, maybe it's still ok and the engine too but that's a hard lesson for the pilot.

his mistake was cutting the power, had he kept the throttle open and pulled back on the stick it would have been ok.
