They are not bad singers. There is a difference between REAL recording booth singing and broadway singing. You have to put your character into the singing and well, all of the characters are wacky.If you have never seen the broadway tour or show in west end see it. It is absolutly amazing. There is NO musical recreation movie better than the stage play.Even though they may be damn good movies it takes more talent to do this every night. :P

Most Broadway's voices for lots of musicals are alittle different, but there not bad like everyone keeps says they are. Ever hear the musical 13? Graham Phillips voice is sorta odd, but odd doesn't me bad. I like broadway voices. They're so aninmated. So stop disrespecting thesse voices, because I bet they can sing in non-broadway style.

In legally blonde the musical Paulette's voices was different but she's famous out of Broadway and she was so ANIMATED in her proformance with that voice.
