I'm 50 now, but it was like it was literally yesterday that I walked into the Delta Sorority in Dec. 81 to pick up my date and out of one of the upper rooms, the Go Goes were playing. Her name was Kimberly. Long brunette hair, green eyes, and a scent of Vanilla Mist lingering around her aura. Uno's Pizzeria, a forgettable 'romantic' flick, and 5 hours down by Lawton's Lake 'jiggin' to Disco oldies on CKLW, a bottle of cheap Chardonnay,, and some extremely wet kisses. O, the memories.

Saw the Go Go's Vacation Tour in 1982 with AFOS, was 20 in college and loving life, feel blessed to have seen the best legends of rock perform during this decade - think of the lineup for Live Aid, or the assembly of artist for the projects USA for Africa or Band Aid - the 80's produced the best variety of music ever...if you know your 80's music you know who afos is...
