If you saw the entire show, you would know it was fake. There's a scene later that shows Adrian Brody saying those quotes Johnny Depp mentioned. So if you think about it, it's all a little too perfectly mysterious. I'm sure not all of the interview was fact, but the part out on the balcony definitely was. Besides its not misleading when everyone who saw the actual show could tell it was just trying to stir up publicity.

Shyamalan is so full of himself. If you watch behind the scenes footage of his film DVDs, it always comes back to him. He's always the main focus; not the story, not the crew or the actors or the location, but he's always the main deal. He just can't get enough of himself. He's abusing his power and his love of films. Johnny just gave me another reason not to like Shyamalan. (He probably watches his own movies every day that he can.)

i saw it at least 5 years ago now and i still remember it, the bit when they go in the house and they see the kid in the mirror and get scared, and when they get those supposed spirit listeners to connect with a ghost point to M Night, and all the actor interviews, and the fake drawings that M Night did of his supposed ghost/spirit friend that his teacher kept from Primary School.....I mean come on, i was about 13 then, im 18 now and back then i knew it was TOTAL BULLSHIT AND UNFAIR TO M NIGHT

talked to people they couldn't see(The 6th
Sense)& the house he lived in from ages 10 to 12 looked like the same house in Signs.Only I agree I think it was made up in order to help promote his movies.

If you saw the entire show, you would know it was fake. There's a scene later that shows Adrian Brody saying those quotes Johnny Depp mentioned. So if you think about it, it's all a little too perfectly mysterious. I'm sure not all of the interview was fact, but the part out on the balcony definitely was. Besides its not misleading when everyone who saw the actual show could tell it was just trying to stir up publicity.

This is not real. It is a fake documentary that was meant to be aired around the release of The Village, but the network that was meant to air it got cold feet at the last minute and yanked it. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. I think it's called "Buried Secrets" and you might be able to get it on dvd if you look around. I saw it and thought it was pretty cool. Worth seeing if you can find it.

This clip is from a collaborative hoax by parters at SciFi and Shyamalan. SciFi got into some legal trouble for airing it, Shyamala wiggled out of it. All in all though, it's little more than a joke/marketing gimmick to stir up dust and unviel The Village.
I love The Village. But regrettably for our dear Director, the critics didn't think his joke to be very funny.

that the movies M.Night Shyamalan made were things that happen to him in real life. I should know thank god I escaped Episcopal before graduating there. M. Night grew up in the main line and now lives like 5 minutes away I dont know why he would move back here EA isn't as good as it used to be. Thank god for public schools.

Shyamalan is so full of himself. If you watch behind the scenes footage of his film DVDs, it always comes back to him. He's always the main focus; not the story, not the crew or the actors or the location, but he's always the main deal. He just can't get enough of himself. He's abusing his power and his love of films. Johnny just gave me another reason not to like Shyamalan. (He probably watches his own movies every day that he can.)

Yeah sure. The Bured Secret of M Night Shyalaman is a Sci Fi documentary about M Night's secret hidden past and the (supernatural) childhood events that led him to make the movies that he has made. Later it was said that M Night staged the whole thing for publicity HOWEVER, I have seen the movie and I still believe, it is CRAZY! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
